@@kimduong2332 I think you need to study the world history. No countries on earth that don't have this issue. France already drew the borders for both countries, and it was officially accepted by the U.N. Do not dream of talking some parts of South Vietnam back. If you are smart enough, just look at Cambodia's economy and manpower. Vietnam's economy and population are 10 times higher than Cambodia. If you want to destroy Cambodia like Pol Pot, please keep thinking this way.
I love Cambodia and want this country to have peace and prosperity instead of wanting conflicts between neighbors. This is 21st century, don't keep this mindset. Cambodia had wasted 30 years in internal wars and conflicts. It has just been reborn for over 20 years. Thus, for now, all we need to do is to rebuild this country to become a more prosperous nation.
This territory issue is not unique to Cambodia. Please name one country that does not have border conflicts and territory issues with its neighbors. I am really disappointed that many of my countrymen keep being so bitter about things that cannot be changed.

Proud of Cambodia starting rebuilding country from year zero, for just 40 years the infrastructure growing so fast. I think it has by passed some of the countries for technology and economy. On top of it, the Cambodia people always greeted people with their beautiful smiles. 👌👌👌

20 years I guess, because in 2010-2013 Thailand had invaded Cambodia many times and postpone our development, on top of that Thailand claim Preach vihear but in the end they lost the war because Cambodian have experience more war than them.
The real civil war was ended in 2000s
The Cambodian civil war really ended in 2000. There was no international trade before that. So they took 20 years to start from Zero.

I visited Phnompenh for the first time in 2014 then came back after just 4 years, and I couldn't recognize it at all; very impressive infrastructure development though of course you do see strong foreign influence too. My last visit was right before Covid in 2020, and I found it quite livable for most Southeast Asian.
We Asian we don’t want any more war we just want peace ☮️ and our people can live peacefully

@@rtth465 well if you were in Phnom Penh as you claim then you would agree me , unless of course you never ventured out of BKK1 or Koh Pich . Try flying a drone over Daun Penh , Russei Keo , Steung Mean Chey etc then one gets to see the real deal .

Much larger than what I expected. Looks better than Jakarta to be honest.
In terms of big high rise buildings, I guess Jakarta wins, but if we compare the air quality, Phnom Penh is better.
@@TheSoshi92 Keep in mind PP is currently building many big high rise buildings above 300 meters tall.
As I experience almost 2 week in Jakata, It feeling that I stay Phim Penh too. The different is Jakata is far better infrastructure and skyscraper is higher than Cambodia
As Jakarta, PP urban planning is better than JKT but in terms of infrastructure, Jakarta is much better 😁

From Malaysia stayed in PP from March 2020 till October 2022 , for 2.5 years thru Covid . This incredible city has a broader selection of , American , Australian, European and French food items and medicines than even Malaysia . I miss PP .

Malaysia has a modern, extensive railway system though. I'd take an affordable, efficient and safe public transportation system over western food any day.

@@rojanetouk I’m not comparing the two countries, why one has something and the other doesn’t and the reasons. It’s not a criticism. I’m Khmer too and you’ve commented on my other posts before.
Are you really satisfied about the development of Cambodia so far? Compare it to the development from Independence from France to the civil war/Vietnam war and now compare the development from the Paris Peace Agreement to now and tell me still that you’re satisfied with the pace of development after comparing the two eras. I’m honestly disappointed in reading that from you. It shows complacency, a lack of drive for better things, higher standards. Also you want to point out a lack of war within the last century as a reason for faster development. Why don’t you compare it to countries who have experienced war within the last century and how fast they develop. Look at Japan, South Korea, Germany, etc.
Widespread corruption is a barrier to faster development and it attracts the worst. Starts at the very top and trickles to the bottom. I don’t visit Cambodia as much as I’d like because of corruption. You come in the country and immigration officials ask for money and same thing when we leave. Before they only did it to overseas Khmer, but now they are bold enough to ask from other Asians.
Corruption also prevents Khmers who fled the country after the war from returning home to invest in the country. I know Khmers in the U.S. who have successful businesses and own multiple properties who would like to move back and open up businesses. They won’t until corruption is addressed. Why? Because you will be asked to pay up money you shouldn’t have. We also don’t like the behavior where people don’t set one price, but charges different amounts based on who they can rip off. Are you happy about all this too?
