Hi, Stratis and Fr. Muchael. Great video. I liked what you said about standing in Church. As you might know I went to the Russian Orthodox Church and the services were sometimes 2,5 hours of standing. The priest told me "we stand out of respect for God". When you were talking about the inner child, I was thinking about what Jezus said "let the children come to me" I think it was Jesus who said it. you left me pretty uncomfortable because I was watching this video and waited for the food to be ready, suddenly I smelt something and realized the food was burned. Great thanks guys.
    :). See you next time.

Fr. Michael and Strati, thank you so much for touching on and clarifying being in joy despite your external surroundings. This has confused me for quite a while, despite the fact I read Wounded by Love. Like the example of different reactions feeling lousy/impoverished sinner vs thinking highly of oneself when rock thrown at you. As well as the example of St. Porphyrios going to the island Patmos. Reading Wounded by Love changed my life by St. Porphyrios' advice of practicing picturing Christ or Panagia giving you a hug while praying the Jesus Prayer. This helped ease the extremely difficult time I was going through a couple of years ago. Now that I'm doing better in a sense, I have been searching elsewhere for answers to "how to continuously have joy in the face of sorrow" (Strati) and "being more in tune to our impoverished child" (Fr. Michael) thinking of it as a different topic and needing to find it through other resources. You have helped to bring me to come full circle in my search. I discovered out of my ego I didn't learn all I could have from St. Porphyrios' words of wisdom, including forgetting the original meaning of his saying "Wounded by Love" in and of itself in the first place.
    God forgive me! 🙏
Therefore, I definitely need to go back and reread it. 💕☦️🕊
*Thank you for understanding me needing to talk this out with you! 💗
