  • It’s maintenance in Coronado!!
This three year old installation is maturing beautifully!
The Mangave Jaguar are growing super fast!
We divided most of the stands and saved the pups for the neighbor.
Another stand out in this garden is the Aloe Starry Night. It’s clumping nicely and stressed to perfection.
Speaking of stress, Greg reset the irrigation to go off for 10 minutes twice a week instead of 5. Everything was looking a bit dry.
We won’t be back at this property for 6 months, so I sprayed all of the aloes with Ortho Home Defense.
We discovered aloe mite on many of the rudikoppe, so I felt this approach was necessary to protect the rest of the “herd.”
Thanks for following and enjoy the video!

I really miss watching you, work on the garden. I love when you talk about them chop them up and place it back. It gave me courage to chop on mine.

    Hello Laura
My garden club will be visiting my garden when lockdown ends here in Melbourne
We take it in turns to open up our gardens, walk around, ask for cuttings that we like and then share morning tea together
I find gardeners to be lovely generous people
There are many succulent areas inspired by you in my garden and I let them know about you and your Channel
Thank you as always for sharing your wonderful tips with us
    Cheers 🌹❤️🌷

This video was just perfect, your initial words, the house, the succulents, the end result and that sign on the wall. This garden is as diverse as our world and that's what makes it beautiful. 🤍🖤🤎❤🧡💛💚💙💜

I have just started watching your videos and am in LOVE with your work.
I have always loved succulents and have now started to look at some of the other more structural plants to try out, new love “mangaves”.
Now is I could only put it all together like you do. San Fernando Valley can be a brutal place for plants! ☺️

This is a beautiful garden and I love how you adapted your designs to each of the little courtyards and spaces
The entrance area with the colourful bromeliads and the sliver, blue and bronze colours on the opposite side is spectacular.

I had just found your videos and I was inspired! I ran out and purchased a new Elephant Food plant for my Phoenix, AZ rock garden thinking it would add texture and interest. I lovingly planted the succulents in a pretty terracotta pot. This afternoon I discovered that the Gambel quail who run rampant here had devoured every savory leaf. Succulent, indeed! And, apparently delicious, too. I'll have to stick to cacti and agave but I will remain entranced by your creations with plants.

One of my cats brought home cat parvo or cat distemper and now all my cats are just getting sick and dying even tho they’re vaxxed and I just don’t know what to do so I’m watching your videos to keep me from completely breaking down. Thank you for being so comforting Laura

I’ve never commented on a video of yours before but I decided today was the today. I love your videos Laura, whether it’s me learning about succulents and succulent gardening or just having background noise. Thank you for the support of the LGBTQ+ community. It’s difficult to find support all the time in the succulent community or even in the plant-owning community as a whole since people just don’t want to talk about this stuff here. I’m gay and it’s amazing to hear someone using their platform, no matter what they normally speak about, talking about the issues we face ♥️

This is one of my favorite gardens. Another one is in San Carlos (?) - the one with the falls and red bench. It shows when a craftsperson loves their job. I know you don't look at this as a job because it shows how much you enjoy doing this, Laura,
