I love this type of videos. Also , it is fun walking exercise by just entertaining fun in exploring the stores. It is one of best ways to do walking exercise during extreme hot humid days to extreme cold days. I do same walking exercise within libraries, art galleries , indoor flea markets with cooling fans to heaters , thift stores , antique stores , used book stores , museums , malls and indoor gardens. Though , it's more healthwise beneficial for myself with my heart birth defect disease issues and my arthritis during these extreme weather days. Plus , I do enjoy finding hidden treasures to buy during my indoor walking exercises.

I always forget about home sense. That bird clock, my grandmother, who was a big birdwatcher, had one that would chirp each bird sound for the hour it was on.
Your white basket is just what I've been looking for for a double Orchid plant to fit into a window sill. But it's perfect for the middle of the table counter for whatever you decide to put into it.
I love seeing all the different things and what folks decide to buy and pass on too.

You can use that bowl to put fruit, apples, citrus and the like, out on the counter or tabletop. you can also use it to serve bread at dinner. Just place a white napkin inside to hold the bread and keep it warm. Did not know that Home Sense is also in the United States, maybe not here in the west. We do have Home Goods which I don't care much for and is owned by TJ MAXX another store that I don't frequent myself. Once you reach a certain age; rather than acquiring things we tend to jettison excess items from our lives. As for a large outdoor pot, perhaps a larger or more specialized outdoor place might have them. Here, we have two places that sell literally acres of ceramic pots, some big enough for either you or even Keegan to literally fit into . Most of that comes from Mexico. Since most of the stuff that you show is now pretty much global in nature. Soon, every home around the World will have the same looking stuff. No regional differences. Sad!☹

So if there is an owl at 1200, you have owl hooting. For years, I had the bird calls turned off. Then I turned it back on freaked out my cats for days. They kept looking for the birds. 😅

Hey Joel, we have Costco in Australia, they call TK Max, TJ Max here. As to the pasta, it’s good pasta according to Italians if it looks porous and has a higher protein content. That makes the pasta sauce stick to the pasta and the pasta stays firmer. I’ve been buying the suggested pasta and I’d have to say it’s better. All the best from Melbourne Australia.

I've seen recipes using that shape pasta that look delicious. Sadly I can't find that pasta where I live.
    Tomato and chickpea pasta. Yummm

I would bet you could stuff that pasta with a ricotta blend (my mom used to blend the ricotta with a little sauce.)

So funny that your “HomeSense and TK Maxx” are called “Homegoods and TJ Maxx”. Looking at them both, I wonder why the name difference (although it is a small difference). Check out the rugs! That area has great bargains here in the states. Love shopping videos… Retail Therapy-- the best therapy of all 😂! ❤

day of the death, in Mexico, is dia de los Muertos in other Latin American countries, it is dia de los Santos, the Saint's Day, you are right is your money, and buying something makes you happy is ok

It takes a long time to develop a lasting style. I went through Victorian then IKEA before I harked back to mid century modern and even now it’s a scramble of influences. 🤷‍♀️ Find your comfy. That’s all. 💐

Your homesense looks so much nicer than the one by me in NY. In the one by me you will see lots of damaged goods and cheap looking furniture. And very messy stores also.

Omg I love Homesense and TK I clicked on this quicker than a rat up a drainpipe. No it's mostly mass produced tat* with the odd good quality thing but for magpies like us we cannot resist!
*a higher class of tat lol

7:15 not necessarily stone, ivory or pearls can also work (items that could be used as book stand holders, weights, picture frames, etc)

Joel, those "tables" that were heavy at HomeSense are plant stands.
