I was on a tour in Ensenada several years ago and one of the people on the tour bus was complaining about how expensive the gift shops were in Mexico. He said that there was no way he was going to pay $62 for a lousy souvenir t-shirt! That person was so embarrassed when it was explained to him that the PESO currency also uses the dollar ($) symbol. The t-shirt was actually $62 Pesos which is only $3 USD.
That rotisserie chicken looks amazing with the homemade tortillas. And the churros and hot chocolate. Love the mugs. Looking forward to the next one. Love you two.
Hello it’s your Gardena neighbor here. I have a very good tip for you both. Next time you go to Ensenada, take a tour bus to La Bufadora. Not sure if you know about it. It’s a sight where the ocean creates a blow hole when it hits the shore. There is a big flea market there and at the end of the flea market they sell this amazing seafood. It’s known as smoked clams, (in Spanish Almejas Gratinadas con Camarones) it has pico de gallo, cheese and diced shrimp on top. It is out of this world delish!! I still dream about it 6 years later. There are several stands that sell this, but our tour guide recommended the stand at the very end of the market. You would love it!! There is also a very good taco stand at the start of the market as well.

I always enjoy your videos ... we have cruised with Carnival several times and always have breakfast once or twice at the Blue Iguana. Their food is great and the salsa bar offers a good variety.

Love seeing you guys back on a cruise! Cruising is my fav (being out on the ocean, relaxing on my balcony, drinks and fun in the casino, watching live music everywhere, etc.), but I hope you two foodies will get to travel on other lines that have better food. ;) I know you take it for what it is, but there really are some excellent restaurants out there on cruise ships. Carnival's new Mardi Gras has some great ones too. Really enjoying this series, thanks for sharing!

We are doing our first cruise on a 5 night on Miracle in November and we've been looking everywhere for videos to see what to expect, and also the fun ship 2.0 upgrades from the 2020 dry dock. We're also going to Ensenada and plan to do a wine tasting excursion. The excursion is only 4 hours so I'm hoping we will have time to find that chicken! I know they had the crab legs for an extra cost, but do you know if they ever have them in the buffet? The portions of food look really small. I've seen other videos where people order multiple entrees? Is that pretty common? Sorry for the questions, we've never done this before. Again, thank you so much for these videos, they have been so helpful when we're trying to figure out how all of this cruising stuff works.
We just posted part 4 today. But, to answer your questions, no crab legs in the buffet. Yes, you can order as much as your want from the menu, often times the staff recommends that you order 2 different mains if you can't decide.

I'm on this same cruise in a week and a half ( 1 week from Monday ). and the churro shop is it near where the shuttle drops you of from the ship? Wife and i both have walking issues, but would like to maybe go there? and is it pricey?On the Miracle the green slide is new, But the yellow has been there, i have been on this ship about 6 times and i have to do that slide everytime, BUT WONT DO THAT GREEN ONE, LOL, and we are also doing the back to back cruise, so we are staying on for the following Friday to Monday cruise, I have been told by Carnival the next cruise we NO LONGER have to get off and then back on, They will do the 2nd covid test for us at no cost on the ship, and your cabin steward will move your luggage to the next room. Thought you might share that, I think that's huge if you want to add a few extra days for cheap.
