FIRST AIRSOFT SNIPER GAME - NOOB SNIPER LEARNS WHAT IT TAKES (GAMEPLAY)

- This is footage from my first game as an airsoft sniper filmed back in 2017. Previous to this I played 7 years as a CQB player at all indoor fields and always ran an ICS M4 with a tracer unit. This was my first day back playing airsoft in almost 3 years since last playing CQB and my first time trying out by brand new SSG24. Even though I was only using 0.28g bbs and used old cameras and a taped on scope camera I still managed to play good and record decent footage.
This game reignited my passion for the sport and new style of play as a sniper and and airsoft UA-camr. From this day on I have never looked back and my channel has been growing steadily over
the years.

Played my first game of Airsoft at Sim-Tac!. Great little site, had come over from the UK to meet some friends and they introduced me to it. I've been obsessed ever since. Picked up my first sniper (Specna Arms SA-S03 M40A5) just before this Covid-19 crap started so haven't had a chance to use it at a site just yet. Been good fun to practice with in the back garden though!.
Ya nows the best time to get used to shooting with it and learning all its quirks trigger time will make you a much more effective sniper especially in airsoft. You can learn how to shoot much better on windy conditions by casting your rifle in the direction of the wind etc so its a great time to practice 🙂👍
When he hit some one it sounded like a real gun the boom 💥
That SSG shoots like a laser pointer!
Ya it's deadly accurate

Found this vid next and ya got my sub man. I’m only learning the sniping game and looking forward to your content. Cheers from the States!

Thanks man if you have any questions I am happy to help sniping is the hardest to master by far so help is always needed
@@FOXGREEN yes I hear so much about sniping being the worst way to start in Airsoft. While I am starting with my son and us both using starter AEG’s, the guy I mentioned that’s helping us and who I am buying the SSG10 from also gave us his first sniper, a Bravo BV3. So I will be practicing as we have a great multi-field outdoor facility within an hour drive. Already looking to upgrade the BV3. Will be checking out your vids about upgrades and maintenance. Really looking forward to those!
Thanks for checking my videos out. Sniping can put people off if they never played with and aeg first so the fa t you ha e you should be fine but I know plenty peolpe who have started as snipers it is way harder though. Lots know know about bb weights and power and range a bit of physics in it and an understanding.
@@FOXGREEN we are fortunate actually. The gent that is helping us get our feet wet is an accomplished sniper. He’s already poured great knowledge into me about the relationship between the bb weights and power of the gun, the functions of the inner barrel and hop up. He just added a WinGun co2 Mosin Nagant to his collections. (Reason I’m getting his SSG10) I watched him fire that thing and he blasts off rounds with that thing stupid fast. What a beautiful nostalgic replica that thing is.
So again, I do feel quite fortunate to have that help in the beginning. Add to that your vids and the growing pains shouldn’t be too bad... I don’t think... 🤔 😉
Oh a mosin my all time favourite ww2 sniper rifle I'd kill to have one of those 😉👍
another well informed video of game play and according to voice over return to the outdoor arena , i enjoy the tactical explanations the overview technique a practice that other video maker can overlook ,this tells a deeper story
Thanks a lot man glad you enjoyed it especially my voice over sometime I think I sound too boring 🤣
@@FOXGREEN voice over ok , there's a feeling we all get hearing ourselves , , embarrassing , am i slurring , am i coherent , clear and also am i waffling on , some others do this with repetition, however your coming on fine as if youre recollecting what on the screen . do you interview any other players . or could there be a what team structure is , who is who what the role is , scouts recon dmr , commander , ? be nice to see . and different .keep it up

I love the videos bro
What’s your background? How did you get into this?
Just a normal guy that likes shooting hunted for many years then wanted a more challenging target (people) 🤣
Theres no airsoft near me unfortunately but I bought the ssg10 to teach and prepare my 10 year old to shoot my 300 PRC Ruger precision sniper rifle. Even with no fields near me, I can confirm that taking down small birds with the 5 joule M220 is not difficult. I've done this so much already that my cat has caught on and now sits and waits for me to shoot a bird. I am extremely impressed with the quality of airsoft snipers. 👍👍
Airsoft is actual a great tool to teach kids gun safety. So good job 🙂
@@FOXGREEN I am very big on safety!! Accidents happen, guns misfire, and children are just that, children. 🙏
Maybe for your next vid could you make one on how to start an airsoft youtube channel, your gear, or filming tips since all of these would be very suitable for the lockdown we are under right now
I actually have that in the pipe line it will be coming soon 🙂
@@FOXGREEN Im considering starting a channel but im not sure where to start with all of the recording accessories involved
Yaband a good laptop for editing loads of batteries it's expensive I won't lie
Hey Fox...isn't it amazing how "sniping" gets a grip on you the firs time you do it???? I also stared sniping with the SSG 24 and now I have all the SSG's and SSX's. For me, there is no reason to try anything else. So many others at my field have the $1000+ sniper builds and HPA conversions, but they ALWAYS ask to use one of my SSG's when things get serious. I do love your channel and really appreciate the way you present your content. God bless and pew pew away my friend.
Thanks my friend. Yes it certainly is a very addictive rile to play. Thanks for watching and following 🙂

Really nice channel I subbed and liked bug I'm getting my first sniper Tuesday and only can play on Sunday and Saturday any advice?
Well what gun are you getting man? Don't be afraid to get stuck in and up close starting out it takes time to get to k ow your gun and take long shots 👍
Great vid. Just subscribed. Do you prefer the right hand bolt handle over left handed? Since you shoot left handed? I'm a lefty as well and I feel its more comfortable reloading with my right hand lol.
Well I have since changed to a left handed bolt and way prefer that now it's alot easier for me.
Nice vid
Thanks 😁
Intresting to have an CQB player to play sniping. How do you cope with the inactivity vs activity? I feel the transition could be to difficult? My eyesight makes me a poor sniper why I continue to play cgb.
Its very different but I play now more aggressively even as a sniper it works very well funny enough so I bring my CQB style to sniping which sounds wrong but it works great checknout my newest video to see what I mean 🙂
Great vid and I wouldn’t have known your a noob
beginner? Bro more like experienced sniper player. Nice shoots, i cant belive that its youre first time playing with sniper 😂
Yes first time back playing in 3 years and first time ever as a sniper 😉
@@FOXGREEN am out of words for real. And i have a question. I know that sniper is not best option for beginners but i like it so much and when i was renting on field i even tried a sniper that my friend is using and it was so cool but still i dont know cuz its one bb per 3-5 seconds vs aeg that can destroy me in one second lol. So idk should i get more money and get good aeg or get sniper and pistol as sidearm
How do you really find the 1joule sniping over here against aegs. Range, rif setup, bb weights ect all come into play no doubt. Also the ssg did you import yourself with the 1j spring on .2s how did you sort your joule creep for the heavier bbs after chrono on .2s? Great content keep it up 👍
I find it grand its all how you play that counts. I bought it with the 1 joke spring pre installed from Nov. I picked the weight I wanted and chrones and shaved a bit of the spring until it was under 1 joule with .32s
@@FOXGREEN il follow suit on that advice and see how i get on. Only back at it myself aftet a few years was mainly cqb too so big change hence the questions. Cheers man 👍
@@thatspooneater7837 no problem fire away anytime happy to help!
@@FOXGREEN did you have any issues importing your ssg from norvich
@@vedrankristic172 customs sent me a mail and asked me to prove its under 1 joule I sent them a screen shot of the order which said I purchases a 1 joule spring and then they sent it to me with a charge for processing it so bot really I expected that. 🙂
Hey bud how are you just wondering what it’s like to have to play with 1 joule sniping I had a vsr 10 5 years ago only used it messing about but have orderd the ssg10 a1 and starting to play on the field
Its grand works pretty well its your style of play that needs to change to get the best results and take out lots of players you have to play smart when you do you will be much more effective than guys worg full auto guns. The SSG10 will give you a good advantage it should be a very good gun 😎

Ya Special ops in Wicklow and also Simtac in Meath. Also Redhill in Kildare is very good 🙂
What joules,, fps, and bb weight are you firing? Local field only allows 1.65j with .32s for snipers.
Using 0.32 at 1 joule 🙂
@@FOXGREEN thank you!

Thanks man 🙂 Ya I ise 0.32 on wondy days and 0.3 everyother day 🙂
great vid as always man . what cams you are using in 2017 ?
Back then I had a mobile 25mm scooecam taped to my scope. I used a gopro hero black as a head cam and a go pro hero session as a selfie cam. All second had cameras but did the job nicely looking back!
@@FOXGREEN bro, I just about head cam is something wrong with stabilization
@@Egis. this was my first go pro back in 2017 hero 4 had no stabilisation at all that's why its shakey. Now I have 2 gooro hero 7's and my footage is smooth!

do you add the THAPWAAAW sound when the BB hits the target?
Ya I do add it. Its a hitmarker sound I use. I recorded it by shooting a jacket with an airsoft gun in a hallway so it is an actual bb impact sound 👍
how many meters usually is the distance when you engage your enemy in an airsoft game?
Around 20 to 50 meters is average I would say across all fields
finally a new video, tried trying your challange, got 3.25 (my personal best for a vety shakey person)
That's like the fastest time out there well done!
@@FOXGREEN thanks pity i didnt record it
They need to make ambidextrous SSG I’m a left handed shooter as well it’s annoying having to reload and re-center the shots😂
All SSG's are ambidextrous you just buy the left hand bolt conversion I have it now for mine 👍
What millimetre size is your scopecam Im unsure to go with the 40mm or a 25mm for sniping in Ireland
35 mm nice in-between 🙂
FOX GREEN I’m buying mine of Novritsch since his comes with a video creation course and a spare battery but the only options are 25mm or 40mm so I’m not sure
This looks so fun
Is this sport everywhere?
Most countries yes 🙂
Your scope cam works really good. What brand and model is it? Very clear footage. Do you have any better recommendations for scope cams?
This was actually a mobius with 25mm lense it was an old camera but the footage was actually quite good out if it. In my newer video I use a Runcam 4 now
@@FOXGREEN It seems that they are out of stock on Runcam 4. I have GoPro 6 but I need to get a good scope cam to record my games. I just don't know much about cams to know what ones are out there that are good.
Well forever are good also and the Runcam 2 with 35mm lense is also very good 👍
@@FOXGREEN Which one would go for between these two?
shop.runcam.com/runcam-4-airsoft/
shop.runcam.com/runcam-scope-cam-lite/?fbclid=IwAR2MkxD_zrPr8uH3_eEWxMlrm21tRxPqsfDp-IL4YmrN8RAgHaOhgFFPB_k
I use the Runham 4 l. But the other is cheaper and brand new so that may be a good option to go for actually
Hey, out of curiosity, have you tried a 140 spring paired with .32s? If so, how was the performance?
I haven't tried it yet but my guess would 0.32's would be too light for a M140 spring. I use 0.32s with an m100 spring so I would recommend using minimunn 0.4 to 0.45g bbs with that for best results 🙂
@@FOXGREEN wouldnt i loose range though? A .4 even on the novritsch chart would be reserved for the 150 spring ( 2J) and higher. Are you using the stock hop bucking?
@Jessica Cooper Hi Jessica believe it or not there is a line where heavier bbs are better than lighter ones because the heavey bb will have more mass to push through the air than a lighter one so they in fact travel further. Its only if you get very heavey that they will loose range. Its kind of like trying to throw a feather it won't go far but with the same force you could through a rock 30 times as far. This is because the wind resistance will stop the feather much easier than a rock. The best thing to do is try loads of bb weights until you fine the optimum, but thats the basic physics behind it. Yes I still use the stock hop up bucking its ideal. 👍I use a 0.48 g bb with M150 springs woth very good results I hit a target at 110 m using that sprong and bb weoght which is extremely far. 👍
@@FOXGREEN oh thats cool. My rifle came with a 130 spring, but its a Javelin and its 5 years old so it it shooting at 430fps. I am poor so ive been doing home mods mostly. Just got some .32s in the mail so i was hoping for good results
@Jessica Cooper try them anyway you may get good results its still worth a try as every gun performs differently 🙂
Nice vid.
Your scope is rotated to left by 90°. The previous scope mount is still there in the right position. Should rotate the scope to right by 90° and use only one pair of mounts.
Cheers.
No the other mounts are scope mounts also rings for my real steel rifle that are a smaller rail size. I didn't want to take them off so I decided to rotate the scope instead it doesn't make any difference you just need to remeber that when setting your sights the scope cam is on the top of the scope thrn as always. 👍
Nice
Thanks 😁
I bought an ssg10, but I can't hit anything the bb is curving everywhere.
Its hard to be a sniper...
Are you using heavey bbs? Are the curving off in the same direction always of so it's likely your scope isn't truly vertical with your guns vertical axis
Its below 300fps? Nice game...love your video
Yes all my snioer videos are 1 joule so 265 fps with 0.32 gram bbs. I can land shots on target at 70 m 😉
@@FOXGREEN amazing...im already convert my awm gel blaster to airsoft..having around 320fps,im using 0.25bb and range i get with better adjustment hopup can reach only 60m..should i use 0.30g bb for more better aaccuracy & distance?
Its worth trying I find heavier weights up to a certain point do not loose speed as fast and do travel further. I usualy test all my guns woth different weights and pick the one with best results.
@@FOXGREEN my problem is...using l96 hopup 🤣 its swing to left more, somethime to the right...more hopup set,its swing more to the left after travel 20m above, mybe hopup not very center in inner barrel..
