VW Tiguan is one of my current favourite SUV's so I enjoyed this video. 73k for an exhaust would be fine in a place like Germany (for the German Autobahn) but not here in SA so miss me😂. The fact that the sunroof is standard is shocking.
I'd honestly just get the 2L normal Tiguan R-Line cause it has more than enough performance. The fact that they look too much alike is another reason why I'd just take the normal Tiguan🤔

Great review, great SUV, just got one as my daily driver, 5000km in 4 weeks of ownership averaging 8.5 litre/100 Lot of free flowing driving. Love it. In Australia there is nothing else available for the price and performance. The RSQ3 is 50% more yes it’s faster but cannot justify the cost difference. Only complaint I’ve got about the R is the seats should be more supportive with larger side bolsters. Otherwise, the performance, sound system, lights, sun roof are all brilliant. 👍

I got a 245PS Allspace last year. with 'just' a Stage 1 tune It's now running 339PS/250 KW and 500NM of torque.

It a beautiful car indeed but it looks like a Tiguan R-line but when you go at the back , you start to realise that it a proper R not R-line

VW need to distinguish the r model way more than the r line going forward
I'd prefer body colored pinstripes and wish it offered Brembo brake. The current brakes look a little puny, especially inside those massive wheels. Nevertheless, that's nitpicking and I wouldn't turn it down as is.
Speaking of which, the integrated headrests have more bolstering, but also wall off the rear passengers making it more claustrophobic, not to mention less ability to enjoy the ride. Love the panoramic roof however.
Unlike a lot of rivals, it covers a large area, AND opens all the way. Not a fan of the wheels. I prefer a more curved design to the angular styles.

Its an SUV, so I prefer the current seat. The integrated seats wall off the rear, and block the view of the rear passengers, and enjoyment.

Honestly, there's no need for an SUV performance car. And what's the point of having a Golf and Tiguan with the same engine? Oh maybe VW doubts themselves, after what happened with the poor sales of the Mk8 GTI. And those extras? Nah man. Great review by the way my G. Please try and review the Renault Clio V and possibly compare it with the Polo Life.

It looks good in my opinion but it just needs more aggressiveness for much better look so that can easily tear it apart from R line..

That's the VW way. They keep their performance lines subtle, and completely slip under the radar. The opposite of the wings of the more aggressive version of Japanese cars. VW make performance for grow ups.

Careful, both Mercedes and BMW offer eco performance hatchbacks, and both with more premium badges. Also, Hyundai offer the Kona N. The only other none German rival.

I never really liked suv’s because of how expensive they are and how fast they depreciate compared to the other body shapes. I just don’t get the point of a sporty suv, why get a suv if you want to experience good performance? And I bet in a couple of years SUV’s will go out of “fashion” just like station wagons.
The point is simple, you don't need to give up utility for performance.
