I think it's just that her apartment didn't come with kitchen and she's not the type who cook so she didn't own any electronic stove.
Also, some people just too lazy to prepare food or eating out.

Most apartments in Japan do come with a built in stove, at least a small one. She must be living in an exceptionally cheap place...

It sounds like Zeta actually has it kinda rough. Constant pressure and work while living like a starving student without a stove and surviving on convenience store instant ramen. Looking at her numbers for 2024, it looks like she brought home about 12k in super chat revenue after youtube, apple, cover, and the tax man got their cut.
The talents do have several other sources of income such as a small base salary but the super chats do give a pretty good idea how well a talent is doing overall.
12k annually discounting additional income is ok-ish. I'm sure that it can only improve from here on!
It's not counting ad revenue or merch sales, which she is definitely getting a cut of.
Superchats are not the principal income anymore, they got more for merch and with sponsors VP and AD i don´t think 12 k per month is what Zeta is earning, she should get an oven or something for food tho
Guys, obviously these girls are doing well and they only share their minor inconveniences. Don't think about it too much. Superchat is only a portion of what they earn. You forgot to add sponsorships, YT ad revenue, and their biggest moneymaker, merch.
Most of Holomems' incomes comes from merch actually, so superchats aren't a reliable metric to base your opinions of their finances.

Rental properties for individuals in Japan often don’t come with stoves, so I’m not worried about whether she’s poor or not.
That being said, I am concerned about her daily meals consisting of convenience store food, considering her health.

She just started 2 years ago and few months and she's already reaching 1m. It might not sound a lot since nowadays hololive is extremely popular, but in a general sense it's quite a huge amount.
Well whether she wants to graduate or not is up to her, but it would be dumb to do so. Just adjust the schedule, she can literally have the conscious choice to not do that much stuff.
Also there's already holoid mems that are not as popular as zeta saying they won't graduate because the money is irresistible.
