    IIRC Hanabi is attending weekly violin lessons too, but I can't seem to find from which zatsudan she talked about it.
    Side note: I once saw Hanabi's illustrator, LAM, at an event. Cool guy, surprisingly genki. Favourite colours are, would you believe it, black and red.

    Beni's not joking about growing up poor, she's talked about it in streams before. Spent her early childhood on a tiny rural island, no phones or internet or hospital. There were so few children that the local school shut down. So her mother (leaving her father) moved her and her two sisters to the city, in a tiny run-down apartment in a dilapidated slum. The kids all lived in one room, using boxes and crates as furniture, while the mom worked two jobs while fighting for custody of the kids.

      @@Dreamer09 When they were living in the run down apartment, her and her little sister were playing at the park one afternoon. Their neighbor, a creepy old man, brought them to his house and gave them baths without this ever being cleared with their mother. There was another neighbor who routinely sexually harassed her older sister (high school age) on her way to/from school. After the bathing/kidnapping incident they quietly moved to a different neighborhood (instead of involving the police because they feared retaliation).

    Violin is a status thing in japan? Its like the average asian childhood over here

    • @AUM_-po9sc
      @AUM_-po9sc 5 днів тому

      Idk about violin, but judging from the zatsu context - learning to play koto nowadays is definitely not the common thing.
      + attending all 3 mentioned instrument classes (most likely at least throughout school) - I don't believe it's a cheap experience.

    • @HaoTran-nw3gn
      @HaoTran-nw3gn 2 дні тому

      yep, in southeast asia as well. if a kid knows how to play an instrument, especially piano or violin, they're most likely from a wealthy family.

    Cant wait for hanabi collabing with ollie (of course no pressure) , after my hope for ema will collab with fauna already gone to atom lol
    Actually to think that there's lot vspo member who have same illustrator with hololive member is interesting, we got : hanabi & ollie, Yuuhi & Subaru, tsuna & Mio, runa & nene, moka & ceci, met & pekora, asumi & calli and ema & fauna
