- A few weeks ago I went to the field and took a couple of planes capable of windy conditions - the Flex Mamba 10 was one of them. Despite it being a very lightweight plane, it actually handles the wind really well and is a lot of fun to fly.
I know flying in the wind can be daunting if you're new to the hobby, but I encourage anyone who flies to get out there and learn to fly in the wind. It will improve your skills ten fold and boost your confidence like you wouldn't believe. Of course, I suggest you start with mild winds first and work your way up from there, and make sure you use the right aircraft to do this as not all aircraft will handle winds well.

Yep playing with the wind can be fun, never had a gyro on board seems to help . I was expecting the plane to flip on landing . Well done ,great video Vas something different.👍

It's too windy when you're just fighting the wind and trying not to crash 😂 It's good fun sometimes but I prefer calm conditions.

Yep playing with the wind can be fun . Never flown with a gyro on board , seems to help a lot . I was expecting it to flip on landing , well done . Great video , something different.
I am trying to decide on a version one or version two. Is there a reason why you went with a V1
I bought this plane secondhand at a good price, so that's why I got the V1 - it was merely chance. In saying that, the V2 uses 6S, so it's a totally different power system and if it's anything like the Piraña wing I have, 6S is not gonna make it super fast, it's just gonna have a lot of torque.
I like the way mine flies though, I've managed to upgrade the power system and kept it light by staying with the 3S batteries. I did try 4S with this motor, but didn't like the extra speed and weight, nor could I hover it properly either. So went back to a 3S prop and I like it like this way better.
I was looking at your videos to see what your motor upgrade was but I did not find it? Looks like fun flying in that wind
