I won’t be surprised or disappointed even if they didn’t end up together in the end. This drama is so good just the way it is and because it shows so much more than just a typical “love line” between the main characters.
My Mister is the most romantic korean drama I have watched without being labeled romance story as such.. even without the skinship.. and the usual scenes in a romantic drama (and I have watched a lot including the most popular ones). The story is so so deep. It cuts through your heart that I honestly do not know how am I going to let go once it ends. It indeed raises the bar for korean dramas. The characters are simply spectacular at all points. I have never anticipated for a show for the past years the way I did for My Mister. I am looking forward to the last 2 episodes but at the same time, I do not wish the show to end. Indeed, parting is such a sweet sorrow.
P.S. As much as I do not want to because I really want them to end up together but I have a feeling that it will have a sad ending. Perhaps, Lee Ji Ahn will die in the end. I feel that one of the strongest messages in this dramas is that, life may be hard but it is so beautiful and that not all beautiful stories are happy, some are sad. Dong Hoon and Ji Ahn have a very very beautiful story. But still, I would really really be happy in case they end up together. ❤
You read my mind! This drama has an amazing plot, charaters and music. As you say this drama rise the level of Korean dramas. Ajussi and Lee Ji An are so subtle in their performances...beautiful!

Mano... ♥️ Tem várias pessoas comentando que eles não precisam ficar juntos, que é apenas amizade (em outros vídeos). Mas esse Drama tomou essa direção. Os dois se ajudaram, sim, os dois se compreendem. E no processo disso tudo, uma amizade grande surgiu e algo mais (na minha percepção). Por mim, eles devem ficar juntos porque se entendem e porque se gostam. Esse desespero dele, essa confusão que ele ficou nesse episódio só afirma que precisa dela. Além disso, as pessoas podem ser amigas sim... Mas que tipo de amizade gera uma inquietude dessas? Ele está perdido e sente falta dela.

Bem de fato, a conexão deles começou mesmo para ajudar um ao outro sem ao menos os dois saberem disso e acabou que os dois desenvolveram um sentimento mútuo que você descreveu perfeitamente. Nenhuma amizade gera essa necessidade do outro tão fortemente, desesperadamente. E o Dong Hoon talvez não consiga se expressar da melhor maneira (pois ele é um homem de princípios então ele não trairia a sua mulher) mas o gesto dele de pegar o telefone e chamar por ela, é a maneira dele única de demonstrar o afeto grande que ele sente pela Ji An. E o melhor: ela sabe disso.
Desde o começo eu shippei muito esses dois, pois eu sempre sentia essa tensão, mesmo quando ela estava interagindo com ele apenas por dinheiro. Eu pensava: ela criou esse “muro” para ninguém entrar na vida dela pq ela está sempre acostumada com a solidão e fazer tudo sozinha, mas a generosidade desse cara vai quebrar essas barreiras. E eu estava certa hehe ele foi entrando sem querer querendo e desmontando ela e ela não fugiu, preferiu penetrar na vida dele também. Eu vejo Ji An e Dong Hoon como duas almas que reencarnaram diversas vezes mas que nunca se encontraram, por isso estavam nessa tristeza sem fim. Mas agora eles finalmente se encontraram e eles se completam. Pena que nessa vida eles tiveram muitos problemas... por isso eu não sei se eles vão terminar juntos por mais que eu queira mtmtmtmt! Até que a Ji An falou pelo telefone que “não se importaria de nascer de novo” porque conhecer o Dong Hoon nessa vida, fez a vida dela ficar menos penosa ou como se fosse uma perda de tempo. Ele fez valer tudo de ruim que ela já passou. E isso ao meu ver é muito mais grandioso que amor, paixão, “eu te amo”, pois isso é um encontro de almas.
Com isso, eu fico ansiosa para os capítulos 15 e 16, mas ao mesmo tempo muito apreensiva pensando que a Ji An possa morrer, pois aquela letra “A Million Roses” (que eu acho que descreve bem a relação dos dois) diz: sem nenhum ódio, só quando eu dou amor sem me conter, um milhão de rosas abrocharão e então eu poderei retornar para a estrela que eu sinto falta.
Ou seja, Ji An de fato já doou o seu amor para Dong Hoon (e até a sua devoção), doou o seu amor e fez isso sem odiar mais, o que implica que um milhão de rosas se abrocharam, e agora que já deu todo o seu amor ela pode voltar para a estrela que ela sente falta (ou seja, voltar pro céu, morrer).
Não sei se minha interpretação tem a ver ou não... é apenas um palpite!

I can say openly. That this drama is very complicated. The great roles of actors were all incredible, convincing, special in their own way. The best thing is when the two are found, but they can not be together. I feel a very strange end of this drama. In our region, the end would be like this: The husband and the wife stay together even though they are a husband of cuckolds. Because women (his wife) do not divorce directors. Who knows? In the drama there is a small piece of luck for Ji An.
