Not uploading as much context for a month will hurt the channel but the relaunch will recover it over time I’m sure. Plus Luke will have time to work on his channel that’s already a bigger account then morning combat lol
I don't think it will hurt the channel. I found 3 shows a week quite draining and stopped watching for a few months. It got pretty boring, and repetitive. It was also apparent in the views decreasing for their 3-a-week shows. Having 1 show a week could increase demand. Also, Luke's channel does similar views to MK and has just 9K more subs, which will in 2024 flip, no doubt.

Plus, the MMA info media space like any 'info' space is dependent on engaging content and when you see the numbers lower across the board, that alludes to how interesting the industry in question is. As much as I initially resisted the Pennington title fight on this card leaving a huge void and seeming to be unworthy…. The Sean vs DDP fight has pulled more and more people in. As the main event gained traction and drew me in further I’ve begun to look more on the bright side. In a time where everyone talks about fighter pay… here is a chance for for one of these women to come away with a title and get a future payday that could help balance out and reward the blood sweat and tears they’ve invested when they fight again with ppv points. If this is where the division is at this point so be it. That’s not their fault. If there’s better matchups to be made later it will all be settled in the end. Glad that there is something to help carry one them through post fighting career. It doesn’t matter if I’m excited about it or not.

Why do I get the feeling BC would be more supportive of the W135 title fight if they were more attractive? I’m not gonna suggest Rocky vs MBS is a five star classic, but it’s the two most deserving contenders, MBS is a finisher and Rocky a grizzled vet with the chance to have her Bisping moment. I don't think Whitiker ever had a good chin.So that wasn't surprising to me..I suspect Whitiker will lose his next few fights, except middle weights suck, so if he fights anyone good like Cannier...Dricus has a good hard tricky length down the middle..And you had better not go straight backwards against him, you gotta side step like a bull herder., or stand your ground and throw an elbow as he blitzes..It is an interesting match between two unique styles...I know Sean can win this fight, whether he will, that is a different story..
Its interesting they selected Toronto for Stricklands' first title defense. They could have waited a month and had him fight at home in OC. The UFC has two big stars and neither are active (Jones and McGregor). They are suffering a bit and have to have a title headlining these cards cause they don't have those stars to headline cards without titles.

Strickland and Plessis showing respect this week is lame considering what has already happened between them. I enjoyed the press conference and the pre fight circus. They should consider replacing woman's 135 division by making a 165 division for men.
I think Deshaun talked himself into a corner a little bit. He has to act tough but the childhood stuff (understandably) massively bothers him. It's quite funny watching him act strong (I'll stab you) because it's actually a weakness (not calling him weak whatsoever but it's a sore point for him.) I don't think he's trying to intimidate DDP with the chat, but he feels like if he doesn't back up the tough guy stuff then he will lose face. So he's essentially gone all in saying he will tank the fight if DDP goes there. DDP doesn't want to jeopardise the fight so he's happy to oblige and bury the hatchet. At the end of the day they've got the casual audience bought in with the beef, now just bang bro 😂. I'm with you though, like Chael says you undermine the bad guy stuff when you don't see it through and resort to the respectful stuff. At the end of the day it should be an absolute banger of a fight and that's what we're here for!
