Ah the great Santa Ponsa. I was there twice in the mid-90's, Durty Nellys, Sean's Place, Flamingo Bar, Steps, Greenhills all brilliant spots, great to see them still going. all ages there what a place. Full of Irish and Scots am surprised the resort never ran out of gargle 😂😂😂

Yo, just got back from Santa Ponsa, loved it, the music up stairs in the Outy Nellys Bar was brilliant, the guy can out-do Pink Floyd and Dire Straights on that elctric guitar,, bloody amazing, but the best music I found was up the top near the Square in the Auldy Triangle Pub, if that guy went on the Voice he'd win it hands down I recon. Also I went there 30 years ago too, remember that Fama Club and Club Caramba and the Tartan Bar, all gone now, even the Parasol Apartments that I stayed in are now just residential apartments for the Spanyards. That Dublinner was a bit too rowdy for me, I stayed just past it on the left and twice late at night I walked past it and there was an Irish yobbo just pissing off the side of the road down onto the mini golf, whilst singing an old IRA shanty. The dirty shit head!
Great video Kev. These majorca ones are bringing back plenty of memories! I reckon the karaoke chap with his list of locations simply had a well-toned memory! I do it myself at my Friday gig as well as reciting the customers names where i can! Depends how many i’ve had though

was over there this year back in June. hasn't changed much since last over there in 2008. stayed in pirates village, great for kids with the mini water park in it. but always got funky smell of dirty arse at the pool bar😂 not sure if it was plants or staff. and got nice dose of delhi belly on last day lasted all the way home to dublin and for another 3 days. 😅
fama was down stairs bar directly in front of you as you walked in great music of the Day loved the place fight in it one night bouncer hit me just under the ear with a batton had a lump for days after it lol i was 17 1084 august how the world has changed i was told when i got back home to DUBLIN George Michael was no 1 careless whisper hahahaha

I remember McTavish’s way back in 80’s when it was tiny also remember Gary from paisley who done the karaoke (his swan song was Mack the knife and he used to joke it was paisleys national anthem 🤣) keep up the good work Kevin 💚
That was emotional!! Worked in the Shamrock (you missed it out, between Sean's Place and Durty Nellies) over 20 years ago for a summer. Brought back so many memories. Sad to see Fama gone. Simplys looks gone too, where all the workers partied after their shift, Igor used to own it and was open to about 8am if I remember. Home made Irish stew at Hill 16 was amazing and Wendy from Flamingoes was a great girl. I wish I was 21 again. Thanks for this video, made my day.
Hi can you tell me if they serve Guiness in any of these bars? Coming in June and last year in Magaluf my partner could not get a cold pint of Guiness anywhere but I think he will here as they are Irish lol. Thanks ❤
Was intrigued to find out what Santa Ponsa is like in the evening up that roundabout. Its changed quite a lot from when we were there in 2012 Wondered if the Saints bar was still there as that's where we watched Spain lift the Euros. What an atmosphere that night! Saints still there but looks completely different. It was mostly enclosed with open air seats up the side then. Laughed at that woman asking if you were from Alcudia, maybe she thought you were Andrew from Loving Life Mallorca channel.
Got a allocation on arrival about 20yrs ago to Santa ponsa worst holiday ever was like in a Republicans dream holiday . never again full of Republican bars

I went to Santa Ponsa with the school in 1976. We stayed to the Bon Repos. Hotel. A very basic hotel we had 4 to a room. Its still there, but it looks a lot better now

Went in 2017, the Dubliner was great craic, so many bars with live music it was brilliant

People always told me that there was nothing in Santa Ponsa , but it looks quite good, Magaluf just looks crazy now, or maybe I'm just getting old 🤣🤣

Steps is a fantastic bar in Santa Ponsa . Great for us Karioke singers and it has the best microphone in the whole of Santa Ponsa.

Used to stay in the Bon Repos also when I was a kid. Lovely hotel, used to be owned by the very nice lady who had her 2 dogs.
