The moment Lewis took a long pause before answering and few people started yelling /reacting kinda shows how people are not used to pausing for reflection before answering. Respect the pause. Normalize the pause in conversations. It develops heartfelt answers.
Intimacy involves emotional, physical, intellectual, and experiential closeness between people, characterized by trust, vulnerability, and mutual respect.
YES! I had a moment where I had to admit I am sexually wounded but the biggest moment was when Lewis said what he had learned from therapy was that "I was deserving of INCREDIBLE love" and its been a journey of receiving it" - I made so many notes though - and this talk really REALLY touched my heart and had me in tears at times. Thank you so much
I moved to a small town so I can find community and in two months I have more friends and do more community activities daily than I ever did 10 years in a populated area. This lead to find deeper connections of all kinds including romantic ones, because we have so many people we socialize with daily. I love this town ❤
Good. In small town ur identity is not ur home address but ur or ur father or family name . And also b aware some times there extreme concerning take ur basic freedom
As someone who serves sexual abuse survivors Lewis. I’m happy to have you say all this Lewis. My goodness. We are all lucky to hear you now and your story of overcoming. We need more men to heal.
Stumbled across this today - I know it’s been Divinely put in front of me to listen to esp from 50 mins on - wow that resonated for me so loudly. Thank you for articulating the feelings I have had for ever. I’m now 58 and this year have been rewriting the narrative of the past on this subject matter, both abuse and sexuality and I am truly FREE from it all Thank you for your courage to share publicly 😇 so that others can also unravel themselves 🙏🏼
Thank you, Lewis. And thank you, Esther, for the work you do and for sharing about your husband's transplant - I had a lung transplant 20 years ago and now I'm going through an incredible relationship transformation. You've reminded me to accept the help of my community in the same spirit of grace through which I received my beautiful lungs. ❤️
She’s super intelligent and 💯 100% truthful speaker. Can learn and realise .. a lot from listening to her.. She’s a super smart .. Fun & Must listen to Lady !!! And also this podcast is 😮 awesome 👏 ❤ !!
What a gift I received today listening to you both! Our mind is a trap of emotions, and therapy helps us deal with the negative feelings that keep us from being able to be happy. And the cherry on top today was hearing your experience, Lewis. You proved that, yes, it is possible to overcome trauma and become the person you’ve always wanted to be. Grateful 🙏
This content is so informative on both sides and also funny in ways in which Ester described her content. Lewis inspires me as well because he is able to take action, be vulnerable and allow himself to be seen while he describes his growth. I replayed this video twice because it was jam packed with insight.
Wow she is so on point on all the things she talking about ! Crazy ! She is taking about all the things we think but are afraid to speak on ! Good work ! Keep it going to teach us. ❤
The healing process is perfectly described.👌 Esther is the one and only understanding these relationship issues.🎉🎉 And the discussion at the end is extremely important and inspiring. ❤
The questions Lewis how’s asked and the personal experience he shared was so strong and relatable very good interview good job I can listen to this whole thing and learn much
Oh, wow! It feels like the universe has sent me this interview at the exact moment that I needed it! Thank you so much for all the great advice, for talking about such a serious subject with humour and for sharing your private experiences with us to learn from them. What an incredible time we live in....thank you again!!!
Thank you so much for posting this, Lewis!!! It was such an incredible interview! All of us at Summit of Greatness were so intentively listening that you could hear a pin drop. Thank you for creating Magic for us at SOG!!!❤❤❤
What an interesting episode Lewis, thank you for bringing this knowledgeable and interesting lady to share her expertise with us❤. I learned a lot today and I am definitely following her and listening to her podcast. Your content is extraordinary👏👏
Thank you so much for this knowledge, freely given to help us all! May i continue to learn and grow, and work on being ready to be an outstanding wife someday to someone ❤😊
Thank you for your videos as I am most definitely an admirer of your work Esther . However I disagree that humanity are expecting more from Eros/ Romantic Love than ever before but rather starting to expect from Eros/Romantic Love what it was originally intentionally meant to have been ! And that is the most important love relationship of all 4 types of love relationships which the Ancient Greeks understood more fully and are fundamentally part of all worldly relationships. Thank you for being a pioneer in steering humanity back to this essential Truth again and allow them to understand the Power of Love more fully which in its purest Agape /UnconditionalLove energetic vibration is the highest energetic power of Love there is and in it’s lowest debased form is lust and promiscuity!
Respected Lewis Howes.. Thanks for sharing!! Incredible pieces of advice and a very reflective version Esther Mam has delivered..convey my regards to Mam..High standards !!..real classic version leads to a vibrant cluster of venture.. To inspire is a divine texture!! Stay blissful! Regards
Hi! I know you mean well, but I feel like we should stop saying that. He did not succeed because of the trauma. He has this beautiful life because he worked on himself and through all of the pain. The trauma in itself didn’t do him any good. Him and his succes are not defined by the horrible events of his life. Who knows, maybe without the traumas he would have done other incredible things anyway. I say this with love. When we wear our traumas as badges of honour it only constrains us to always be the “survivor”, “fighter” - always the one who struggles. It gives us some type of identity. But we are so much more than that. What others did does not define us, it defines them. Even if God forbid other circumstances such of serious illnesses come along, we are not just a “survivor of..” . Oh, we are so much more than that. We have various facets of intelligence, creativity, humour, wisdom, to name a few. Does this make sense to you too? Take care! ❤
I don’t know, Lewis. I’m 16 mins in and I have a trigger about what she said. I have 5 pillars when it comes to relationships: Spiritual, emotional, mental, physical and financial connection (in that order.) I don’t think that’s too much to ask for. Yes, I want to be seen, understood, heard and respected by my partner. If not, then what are we doing?
But you do realize that these are new set of requirements people historically didn’t have and as a modern phenomena it puts too much pressure on individuals wanting to form union- unless we make a copy of ourselves.
@@nathalecoo I do. I also understand in the past it was more of a transactional agreement. Women needed security. Men wanted to have their name carried out. It was superficial. Welcome to the new age.
I totally agree with you. However as we meet men nowadays you would see that only 10% or maybe less can deliver these essential pillars. Most of us are emotionally incapable of healthy relationship with all these traumas this new age created. Most women and men are also suffering from mental issues in one way or another; it is very challenging. Happy for those who have found these pillars on their relationships. Praying that all women can find one. ❤
Wow. Thank you for this Lewis! This part is amazing 48:40. You are an inspiring beautiful person. Much ❤ from La Coruña, Spain. So far away and so close at the same time thanks to you tube. 🙏

Hello from France

Interesting, my mother always told me, don’t ever get so comfy that you think you would never be replaced, everybody is replaceable 💕🦋

Agreed
Which is why so many people are single including myself

I love how you expressed all the elements to true intimacy! Thank you 🙏
There are so many podcasts, but none are as warm-hearted as yours, Lewis. It is always a pleasure to watch your videos. Thank you ♥
Big thanks for watching! I appreciate your support!
I’ve watched enough of his videos, and I see this too. 😊
Esther is a total gift! How does any one person contain and relay so much deep wisdom??!! Love her!! ❤
As soon as I saw Esther I hit the play button. Grab your notebook.

Not only smart and brilliant but Esther is also very beautiful woman ❤️
"We've never been more free but we've never been more alone" WOW!!! That hit close to home.

I agree!
To hear anyone say they deserve love is a gift for us all
Well said, and we can ask ourselves and see how it resonates: "Do I feel that I deserve Love right now?" to take the pulse of where we at.🎉
Community is key. Hmmm something ive never really thought of. I hear the bell of truth in this. Thank you both
I love how real she is being able to admit some of her own faults. Because all of us do, no matter are expertise in our work life.
She’s a gift to humanity ❤
So TRUE !
Profound truth…. But some of us dies slowly while waiting for the other person to change 😞😞😞
What can you change?
You change first then they will change or they will leave
You change for you first and maybe they will or they won’t.. but you will benefit from it.
This woman is amazing and has such insight. I need to read some of her books.

Amo este contenido❤
Most powerful question was the sexual abuse question. It should be talked about freely all the time until society truly heals
Wow she is so on point on all the things she talking about ! Crazy ! She is taking about all the things we think but are afraid to speak on ! Good work ! Keep it going to teach us. ❤
Too many gems to list. I have to re-watch and take notes!

WOW!!! No greater vengeance than the reclaiming by saying yes. Love that versus using our power to say no.
The word Vengeance sounds harsh, I can use Redemption or Rising anew..🎉
