The Lesson was wonderfull, so many things we learn from Daniel and the Daniels of today...let God guides always. Thanks for the good teaching.
When instructing children don't tell them what they believe ask them and tell them to prove it from the Bible. First Peter 3:15 teach them to give a reason for their faith . Treat them like they have a brain in their head to think for themselves. If we don't do this: Matthew 7: 17-20. Daniel and his companions were very obviously instructed by faithful parents. Parenting and Sabbath school teaching are very sacred trusts.

There is nothing wrong with Sunday Worshiping. However it is no good if you do not honor The Lord's Sabbath Day.
Before anyone disagrees, just remember that it was t"he first day of the week" when Paul was preaching and, the young man fell asleep and fell from the window.
"And upon "the first day of the week" -( SUNDAY)", when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul PREACHED unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight

The point is , there is nothing wrong with worshiping on Sundays if you keep The Shabbath holy.
Hello, the gathering you mentioned from Acts 20 is a Saturday night meeting in our modern understanding of time. Biblical days start at sunset, it's clear from the text "there were many lamps in the upper room." Paul spoke until midnight. He actually spent the daylight portion of Sunday traveling. The meeting was nothing more than a farewell meeting on a Saturday night.
The apostles never promoted Sunday worship and Jesus never instituted a new day of worship. One extremely important point was missed in your study Proverbs 22 verse six train up a child in the way you would have them to go. You make no mention of these boys parents and the good parenting they received. Do you think they suddenly came by faith without a decent example or instruction? Choose this day whom you will serve must've been read them as a child. Do you not find it sad that out of the 3023 captives (see Jeremiah 52 :28-30 on the first of the three taking of captives) only four stayed faithful to God? Why? Bad parenting and lack of religious instruction to children?We should question what's going on in our Sabbath school classes for the children. It's not that they're not interested ,but what is the adult example . First John 3:18.. do we really teach them to love and serve God or use worldly satanic means to try to get their attention. If they're in class you have their attention use it to God's glory . Give them the tools they need to be Daniels and Hannaniahs And Azariah's.
Shelly, maybe I did not quite understand you. My understanding of finding these four Hebrews ten times better than the others is after their training and not after ten days. Daniel 1:18-20. Daniel 1:15 only says that they were fairer and fatter in the flesh at the end of ten days than all the children that ate the portion of the king's meat.
Probably a slip of the tongue. They do that now and then 😉

Rochelle.......God is gracious and merciful......we have have all made poor decisions in the past.........however we repent and walk in obedience and GOD will never cast us aside.........embrace the 8 biblical principles of health........adopt a plant based diet(no more killing Gods creatures/no toxic flesh foods/no artificially processed vegetarian foods)........lots of fresh vegetable juices/fruit smoothies/exercise may revolutionize ur health.......ask God to teach u what to eat/do..........trust in God...........do internet searches.......Extra Virgin Coconut oil is effective in preventing renal damage........(fresh coconut daily is of course a better option).........be blessed.......God is good.

Looks like it is after ten days to me. Just reread Daniel 1 and that is what it says. Kenny does stick to the text. like glue.

Just the same way it's recorded that Christ will resurrect after three days and also say the third day in another account. so what it means actually is the elapsing of time
Mark 8:31 KJV
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
Luke 24:7 KJV
Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rises again.
Does My Word not say, even the elect will be deceived?
