I thought I was the only one who burned a leaf before working? You are probably burning sage but I burn bay leaves. I have lots of bay leaves and read somewhere that they contain a chemical that relieves anxiety. So I burned it but the anxiety didn't just go away, the air seemed purer. Thank you for the tutorial. I'm going to make it next.
Lovely work, I like your designs. The children laughing and having fun added to the video (always love to hear our neighbors grandchildren playing in the yard). Just watching you work with the Rio jewelers files. I wish they came with an explanation sheet for folks. A little hint, use them on and upward stroke only, less work on the clean up end of your beautiful work.
There is SO MUCH I love about your way of teaching! You make projects like this easier for us beginners. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t thank you for not loading your tutorial up with commercials! It’s a beautiful design, and I know it’ll take me a few times to like my own end result, but I know it’ll be because you did a great job teaching it! Thank you!! 👏🏼👍🏽
I agree, and I love the slender pure green color stone in the Shield design, dough the preference of the wire color, I'd choose Silver Tone and Not copper color... Silver tone looks better on a pure green slender stone style to me and my eye view... 😉😏🤗💖💗💟💜❣....
I’m not even a maker…and I really like your stuff. Great vids and I find them very pleasing. I’m more of a Maori bone necklace guy, but these all are very appealing. I am trying to get to a place to mark them for daughter, ex-, and daughter-in-law. Thank you.
Thanks so much for the video, and it's nice to see that some of the things, mis-wraps/scratches that happen to me happen to others more advanced than me :) One other thing you might try for the scratches is a Luthier's fret file, it's very small and curved so you can get around the wire. It works very well for me. Also you should mention to the ones starting out that they should never sand or file coated wire as it will remove the colored coating.
Very pretty! I'm looking at how to modify this just a bit for cabochon wrapping as I don't use beads much but I do have lots and lots of cabs and I'm really tired of conventional cab wraps. Just a few crosses or something across the back and you'd have it.
You are so talented and I’m learning from you. First I want to say I’m using my late husbands iPhone and when I make a comment it comes up under his name. I’m not computer savvy enough to know how to change to my name, which is Linda. Just retired after 48 yrs as an RN and my new hobby is making jewelry and feel so blessed to have found your channel. You have a very pleasant calming teaching voice. Your talent has blown me away and if I can get 1% as good as you I’ll feel awesome!! Thanks for taking your time to teach us. 😀❤️🙏
Love it when you show when it's NOT just 1 2 3 and it's done! So easy! It's not so easy and good to show us that even those that have done it much longer have those "not so easy" moments too! Straightening the base wires at the top are always the hardest part for me to get symmetrical too! Thank you for your tutorials!
Yay thanks for answering my request to do this beautiful type of wire art. I know I'm not the only one requesting this because it's so impressive and your are so amazing and beautiful. Don't worry about your tutorial having to be a certain way. You do you girl it works!!!
Beautiful. I am very new and trying to watch a lot of videos to see where I might want to start and I'm looking forward to trying this one. You are a great teacher ✌🏽️
Thank you so much! I've tried this style so many times -- your video really explains the details so well! I'm going to try this again with your technique.
I absolutely love this! But I don't own any beads. How would I go about making this style wrap with with a teardrop cabachon? I'm pretty new to wrapping/weaving and there's so much to learn. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely tutorial. ✌❤
I’m blow away by your jewelry. The top two of not all weaving. Your cabochons rings everything it so beautifully n I’m going to make. Beautifulest.
