A sequel series to My Hero Academia could go a lot of ways. Today we explore a potential TIMESKIP, in which Eri (Class 1B) is the main protagonist, TAMASHIRO is her rival and Kota/Katsuma are her friends. In this concept, UA has changed drastically since the original series; with a new exam and totally new way of pitting students against each other. On the villain side of things, we have a totally original villain with a UNIQUE feature that stands him out from any other. There’s also a returning villain, who has close ties to certain characters. Finally, the series would also show us the future of Deku, Bakugo and MINETA!

I think there’s two things we need to focus on here with her. Firstly, I’m pretty sure Eri would turn out with mental illness like maybe dissociative identity disorder for the trauma that she does go through, and secondly I think part of her even becoming a hero at all would be so hard for her. I imagine that she HAD to be trained despite if she were a hero or not and would be involved with the government for just because of how dangerous her quirk is. So she would maybe have a softer version of Shoto and Keigos childhood. Either way, she had to work so damn hard. I would also imagine that at this point in time the school is taking lots of safety precautions and there are safety protests considering literally anyone could easily kill in UA. She would also have to be forewarned that her quirk is dangerous simply because of the ramifications of her quirk. So she would have an issue of breaking out socially because they can’t tell the difference from her and her quirk. How y’all feel about that?
Edit: I think she would be quietly apathetic about this seeing as she has no choice in her life because she’s forced to always be monitored and watched because her quirk, like she’s treated like a villain simply because of her potential to hurt. It could lead her down to being and advocate for people with quirks like hers and seeking out people who have dangerous quirks to talk them down, so kind of like hawks in this more wholesome way. That’s for when she figures herself out tho

Imagine if eri would babysit dekus kids in her dorm
an Eri who has learned to control her quirk could potentially stop any villain by rewinding them till they're too young to cause anymore trouble, assuming she can get close enough. She could also make a good support hero, rewinding allies to heal injuries. Also, if All For One ever steals Eri's quirk, things could get bad real fast.

You could also make the story where Kota is ahead in his studies due to extreme training but isn't really making many friends. This could be because he is hyper focused on becoming #1 and Eri makes him remember why he wants to be the greatest Hero, through her origin story could strike a nerve in him and cause him to recognize his mistake.

I love the idea, and it's always super cool imagining future versions of all these kid characters and what kind of conflicts they'd go through. If there's one problem I'd have with this idea, it'd be Tamashiro being the rival of Eri. First of all, we don't see much of Tamashiro, so it doesn't feel like there's much of a reason for them to be the rival. And second of all, there does not even need to be a "bakugou" character in this show, aka, a grinning, quick-tempered rival. It feels a bit as though you made Tamashiro the "bakugou" character just out of process of elimination. You wanted a rival character similar to bakugou, so you picked the kid that fit the bill the most. Tamashiro could definitely be in the show, but I feel like it would make sense for him to be an outright antagonist rather than a rival. Instead of competing with Eri, he would actively be trying to defeat her to prove him as the stronger hero, with no sportsmanship involved. Basically, he'd be a bully character.
As for my notes on the villains; I think the idea of a quirkless villain is GENIUS, and I think Overhaul returning would be intimidating too. However, the explanation as to how he still uses his quirk should be different. If he just conducts it through his feet, and nothing else was different, then it would feel like what Shigaraki did would be meaningless. Instead, Overhaul should have some way of using his quirk that is seriously different from what it used to be. Maybe he needs to conduct his quirk through the stubs of his arms, and in order to continue to control the area around him without just lying on the floor with his arms pressed against the dirt, he'd need to fuse himself with his surroundings a bit. Fusing himself with a wall would cause him much pain and discomfort, and he'd also be immobile, but he could still make full use of the surroundings to protect himself and attack enemies. This makes him much less of a powerful fighter then before, since he's not able to use his quirk to move around, but it also would have forced him to spend the 7 years between MHA and this story training his quirk. Because of that, his quirk is even more powerful and covers a larger range, making up for his immobility.
but what if Kota was in all might blue and was Deku's successor, since one for all is a booster quirk Kota's Water Gun
quirk would be boosted and do a lot more damage.
One for All is to powerful for most people to wield. This power keeps getting stronger over the years.and would break others like it does with Deku. Eri would be perfect because she can heal any damage.
Or Katsumo, since he also has a healing quirk
But that means Kota will die very young cause OFA is evolving and getting stronger oof.
@@sigmaisdumb9021 so either eri or katsumo since their quirk basically prevent them from dieing and ofa will enhance their quirks so if their present quirks won't do it the enhanced version will and te next generation will also need a self healing quirk or eri or katsumo will have to live for ever and be the only remaining ofa weilder but that will be sad so maybe eri or katsumos descendants will have it so their ofa will become a generation quirk

His items include a hammer that can defeat any villain, a crown that amplifies esper type quirks, and a cup that if you can drink from it can restore lost quirks.
Quirk Berries: Special plants altered by quirks are able to grow berries that are able to help in hero work in some way.

My theroy on the rest of Erie's childhood was she was still raised by Dekue, Eraser Head, and Lemillion. Lemillion had set up a special home to take in children like Eri.
Erie later in her life would take care of the children of the students that she was close to.
And around age 10, Eraser Head would give her a copy of his binding cloth.
7:47 He could always train it in his years before going to U.A. and also he could get support items like water guns but they are actually lethal and he can control the bullets and maybe a throwable water grenade that can have really hot water that creates steam for smoke grenades and another with normal water for some frag grenades. He could even have some sort of a hollow katana which serves as a frame or a guide for water to go along and yea. There are many possibilities with Quirks, you just have to have a creative mind.
For "work study with Mineta" maybe hiroshi can surprise us by having him being more mature and becoming good boi Mineta, just an idea since people CAN change

Aki Hui I know that a lot of Naruto and Naruto Shippūden are filler. The difference is that Naruto is over and you can skip to the actual plot. But with Boruto there is little plot crammed between filler. Boruto is an ongoing series and people repeatedly get treated to filler and little plot and they can’t skip to the plot. Then there’s the fact that Naruto is a story about someone hated by his village rising up to be loved by the same village, whereas Boruto is about a child that pulls pranks because he hates his dad that’s never around (because he’s busy running an entire village). Boruto is also pretty much bred to be op. He’s the child of Naruto, Jinchuriki of the Nine Tails, wielder of half of the Sage of Six Path’s power, and Hinata, a member of the Hyuga clan with an op eye based jutsu. Boruto also treats his dad like crap, and people that have seen all of Naruto hate him because they know everything Naruto went through to be where he is. Boruto is hated because Naruto is beloved.

I really love this idea, especially the concept of Eri as a student. I feel like she would be the opposite of Deku in that she has a massively powerful quirk that she has to tightly control, where he was quirkless.
I feel like the biggest flaw of this is the way it is pretty much taking the idea of a different show. The idea of a next genration of UA students is amazing, but I feel like they would just modify the entrance exam. Either way, it is amazing to speculate and it is overall a great idea.

If Overhaul returns I think Eri will most likely be the one to put him back in jail/prison and she'll probably have a few breakdowns
the cliff hanger for season one would be like overhaul talking to the guards and making then get into the cell to stop him from doing something and then he kills them and escapes or it could be where it cuts off when over haul is killing a guard but instead of seeing him do this it would just be a shadow of some one in a bird mask looming over the guard (obviously overhaul) and then he would kill him with his signature stone spikes
If Kota can control the structure, velocity, and volume of his water he could easily over power dudes like todaroki.

Mubarak Hassan but if Kota can compact the water he could create the second form of ice called ice 7 and yes that’s a actual real thing rendering todarokis cold power useless, Kota doesn’t have to control temperature to make ice and if he can control the temperature he would make the make the ice hot and making it a meteor of some sort.

i could see monama ending up as a teacher, his quirk is very versatile and being able to copy his students quirks to better understand them would be useful even if it wont work on alot of them. also his chaotic energy is perfect to be the main teacher as an opposite of how aizawa is. though i would love to see my boy vlad back
Monoma has a super op quirk. What if he used All for One's quirk and gave the quirk All for One to someone or took quirks with the quirk

due to eri living in the school taken care of by eraserhead, when she atends school she will likely have the most control/knoledge about her quik because eraserhead probably gave her leasons as a child
I have a headcanon for next gen Kota. His quirk is basically shooting water from his hands. Maybe like how many other quirks develop overtime (he was 5 during the Forest Training Camp Arc) Kota can control the water he shoots, both the quantity (amount of water) and quality (densing the water to become hard like steel). He would be able to shoot powerful water jets out of his hands and travel similar to Bakugou and Genos (OPM). He would even be able to conquer weapons such as blades and whips (with the help of support items he could maintain them) with his water he could control like Aqualad from Young Justice. As for personality, he would be those characters who have emotionless/glaring/bitch resting faces but have netural personalities like Giyuu Tomioka or Genos. But still have the hot-headed mentality in a way, being aggressive with villains. Sorry for rambling but I really love the idea of future Kota being the "cool" character.
Overhaul at this point woud have YEARS of planing and preperation for a comeback.

First Overhaul would restore Eri's grandpa, because in his Time in prison the very idea of Eri's grandpa still in his coma would haunt him more than anything.
With training and "awakening" he would be able to use his feet or even his skin to use his Quirk.

I was just thinking that she could have a sort of Korra like overconfidence for the first season but then something happens such as but not limited to Overhaul escapes, Aizawa/Mirio/Deku gets badly hurt, she gets bullied to high hell.

Narrativly, I can't see Overhaul coming back, but I think it would make more sense for a group that idolized him and taking on his name would be a pretty neat challenge for not only Eri, but also the other students of Future UA.

Koda's quirk, unless it awakens or power-ups as he grows older, is significantly less powerful than waterbending from Avatar. He can create and shoot water from his palms, but he can't control it or any other source of water.

@@zusfrankenstein8561 I think it's similar to Endeavor's fire quirk tbh. He can emit water, but through training, he could learn to control it better and release high-powered water pressure blasts, he could control it's temperature and make it either boiling or frozen, etc.

I like what you said about the season one finale being overhaul breaking out of prison then he can be the villain for season two and three, but in season two and three there is a slow build up for some type of organization, or a gang that we only hear a little bit about through News Broadcrest, or something like that and then that’s when we’re introduced to the new villain in season four or five and he is quirk less
Got some more plausible villains.
Smoke Break: his quirk gives him the ability to think and create doomsday weapons every time he smokes a cigarette.
Blinder: his quirk gives him the ability to disable eyesight for a time. It won't affect invisible girl but it will disable her powers.
Eri's character development could also be seeing her mom after years
