Awesome pick up. I remember thinking $300 was way too much back when it came out. Now the Hasbro version from 1999 is $300 and Hot Toys is realeasing one for $700!
My one piece is the Sideshow Premium Format Speeder Bike, I had a chance to buy one at Fox Studios in Sydney when it came out and I passed it up, biggest regret in my collecting world. I recently picked up this Dewback myself though and got a great price, so happy to have one in my collection.

Great piece congrats. The hot toys version paint job looks way better in comparison. But this one is also gorgeous
I was always a fan of the dewback and it was one of the few Kenner toys I didnt have. When. It came out 10 years ago I jumped on it and it's the pride of my collection tion to this day.
Does look great. Not big on stuff like the not very hairy/sculpted hair and bags and stuff, guess between HT and SS's other premium format figs I've become used to multimedia statues. And the scales donlt look as defined/they're more 'sculpt' from what I can tell there. But still, does look great!
I have one. I've been debating selling it but the hassle of shipping it has always been my excuse to keep it. I'll probably end up selling it locally one day after I scan it to make scaled down 3d printed copies
Sideshow Arc Trooper Echo and Fives. Really want that but i cant justify using over 1k on 2 figures
The Hot Toys version will look soo much better. Just like everything Side Show makes it’s a meh…..
Tip if you are shipping something heavy, go ups through pirateship, usually a big discount, and cheaper compared to usps and fedex for heavy items.

Do you remember in the day hot toys did a Rhino from amazing Spider-Man? 1/6 but they never released it, only brought it to shows. That would be my grail.
Congrats on getting that piece! I also wish I got it back when it was released. Like yourself I kept looking at second market sites to try and catch one but they wanted to much. So I pre-ordered Hot Toys version. Three pieces I want to get that I would consider center pieces for me! Jazzinc falcon Cargo bay diorama set, 89’ Batmobile or the Hot toys version, but you Jazzinc will be better! And The Scout and Speeder from Return of the Jedi by Hot toys. I’m waiting on a discount on that one!

Sick pickup and great video! My one piece that I've always wanted was the 1/6th scale Johnny 5 from short circuit... Finally got it but it damn sure wasn't cheap!
When I see the size of this cutie, it gets me worried for the Rancor I intend to make (3d printed though). He really is massive. I like that he is fully sculpted, gives it more realism IMO.
Regarding the staff : the only occasion something like that is used on horses, it would be a Garrocha (Spanish Vaquero lance). And in the medieval ages by knights, but for different purposes (to push over enemies, not for horse control). It is much too cumbersome to carry long-term. On a horse, you have your bridle and a pair of spurs for horse control in battle, but not such a long stick/staff.

My one piece is the Fives & Echo dual set. There's a local toy store that has it for, I think almost $1k. I will probably wait for Hot Toys to do a new version.

One piece I’ve wanted to add to my collection for a long time that I now have the money and space for is the Prime 1 Eva Unit 1 Diorama. I still can’t bring myself to pull the trigger on it though. It’s damn expensive.
Other than that, the only thing I regret not buying when I had the chance was a beautiful ruby red Rickenbacker bass guitar.
Great addition - looking forward to the Hot Toys version for my collection - definitely have the deluxe Rancor from Sideshow as a grail myself but only time will tell :)
