Make the top layer below y level 50 for iron ore, gold ore and nether quartz from Vulcans

It doesn't work in 2.9. It spawns the mobs but it doesn't drop the items.

The reason The items dont drop is because the acid that spawns xhaphans burns items and exp so I think that you should place the acid at the top. Edit: just realized that the acid shouldnt burn all the items so I dont know why the all the items dont drop.

heyya! I've tried making this underground, it doesn't seem to work, what's the radius I must make spawn proof for this to be efficient? And should there be open space around the farm to make sure the mobs have space?

thanks for watching! there is the hungry farmer perk for eating automatically, so you'd just have to stand in front of water with shift-click held down :)

Hi, I just made this on my survival world, but i noticed that the mob spawn rates are extremely low, is this normal? How long do you have to afk to get a decent amount of items? (I built this underground but I did not clear out all the caves around the area)
yes you'll need to clear nearby liquids, I was able to use the nametags from special monsters like 'verdant cinder' to locate the pools of liquid and remove them

When I place the powered rail over the hopper, it doesn’t stop and unload the items, any suggestions on how to make it stop to put the items in the hopper?
not sure what the problem would be, but you can check out the minecart unloader design here: minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Storage_minecarts I used design A in the 'item unloader' section, click 'show' because its hidden by default. Other than that, i've noticed redstone glitches on our rlcraft server, so try breaking and replacing it, or moving the whole thing away from chunk borders
also make sure there's a normal rail after the powered one on the hopper to break it off from the signal for the rest of the powered rails. and if you have too many powered rails it may be coming in too fast for the redstone to catch it.. I've learned to test everything in creative first because it can be a real pain to figure out in survival :)
Since items dont burn in lava , if the acid is above the lava and xaphans spawn they'll just keep killing everything below them.

some items do burn, not the elemental charges or coal though so it doesnt matter much... glad to hear its working and you're experimenting with the design :)

the xaphans will fly up and kill them. sometimes they take a while to spawn, idk, but you can check out the world download in the description to see it working.
Does this still work? I heard the mod owner patched a lot of farms.
yeah he fixed my chup and sylph farms a while ago, a little credit would have been nice in the patch notes but oh well. Liquid assets worked a couple weeks ago when I was last on the server, haven't checked on it since but I assume it still works, I'm in the process of converting to Linux and haven't got my minecraft set up yet. You can download from the link in the description to make sure it works in current version :)

If you want exp there are great xaphan farm out there If you search on UA-cam, for loot this look really good tho
why is it that mobs dont spawn, They only spawned in once liek after i put the liquid in but then no more spawned, im building it underground... is that a problem?
you probably have some pools of liquid around the farm, you can use the name tags like 'verdant cinder' to find the liquid and remove it
At 4:58 how did you auto fill the acid buckets?
I edited out the part where I opened my inventory and moved them onto my bar :) makes the tutorial easier to follow

Mobs don’t seem to fall or kill one another. Just float in the lava/acid. Any tips?
that can happen, just give it some time. you can break a block in the top to make them more angry if you're brave enough
This might be a bit too late to help you, but if you want to clear out mobs, you can also summon a Geonach and a Djinn to make a Banshee. They can zip through solid blocks and kill stuff on the other side, so they're good at clearing out things you can't reach personally.

you have to be close for them to spawn. I would check around the area for other pools of liquid and remove it. You can use the name tags, like 'verdant salamander' to find it through walls

the lava and acid do, but the lower three can be any order, although you do get slightly more snowballs if the ooze is on the bottom

needs to be a minecart with hopper, also make sure there's no activator rails, because that will turn it off
I have made it a little more space over the magma layer then started to spawn "Lobber".

what is the list of blocks in the build
1 hopper, 2 chests, 1 comparator, 2 redstone torches, 1 redstone dust, 4 powered rails, 12 normal rails, minecart with hopper, 16 buckets of acid, ooze, lava and poison, 16 defiled dirt and 16 thorns, 70 signs, plus solid blocks.. may have missed something but thats about it

It's really hard in survival finding the acid, cuz it doesn't spawn on the surface, but it's not really useful either so i'll just skip it.
the xanthan's aoe is what kills most of the mobs, you can skip it but the farm will work much slower
Wait how to play multiplayer with rlcarft ?
we had a server with bisect hosting, but I think there's some public servers listed somewhere. You could also open to LAN and use himachi to make the port visible online

I dont need an avatar cause Im not uggo rofl, yeah it works. you can check the download in the description to make sure it works in your version, before you build in survival.
why not cactus instead of ?
cactus are solid blocks and have to be staggered, so its not ideal. you dont even need the bottom layer, since the xaphans do most of the damage, it just takes a little longer for the mobs to die.

@@user-cp8nr4wq5h xaphans spawn in the green acid, and float up, I just put the lava at the top so it doesn't destroy some items like bones, but in rlcraft the charges and coal don't burn anyway
@@NitroxNova Ahh ok. I don't have enough liquids, 2x2 is not working, I think I'll use a clock and 2 dispensers per liquid :/
@@user-cp8nr4wq5h dispensers can't pick up the liquids, unfortunately.. but you can use the name tags like "violet xaphan" to find pools of liquid though the ground. also lycanites dungeons have liquids in some of the rooms. best of luck with your farm :)
