Yes it can be used as it’s applied on strings and you only have to apply when not in use, if applied in excess then remove it with a micro fibre or cotton cloth

Sorry, polish and wax are same for the body. Only thing is polish will also clean the chrome hardware of your guitar whereas wax is solely for the body. Wax also has the benefit that it protects the shining finish from further scratches from dust and sweat.

Truss rod is either situated in the soundhole where the fretboard ends below that or in the headstock there is a slot where truss rod is accessible
