Great video. But 180 euros for a game that is expensive. And also the tour and the shop. You spend a lots of money the last few days haha. You are doing a great job. Great video. Hope you are going to Arbroath for their playoff game.

Awesome Video! Really do enjoy watching your videos especially when you visit Portugal you should cover the Madeira teams next season or whenever you get the chance.
I’m an Atletico Madrid fan, this is my dream. I’ve dreamt about visiting our stadium since I was a little boy. This is number 1 on my bucket list, for me this is the promised land.
Sane here im 17 and im for shre now saving up for hopefully a champions league match or a madrid derby or a match vs barca even if it will cost me alot
@@starjrcodm2823 Cool! I went to a Champions league match in 2019 against Bayer Leverkusen in Germany and to a friendly match against Feyenoord in Rotterdam in 2021 so far. I hope that in the future I can go to a home game. 🤞🏻 Aúpa Atleti! 🔴⚪️
As a city fan I did the tour on our matchday against them and it’s was one of the best tours I have been on they even let me loook into the away locker as I was a city fan on matchday
Atletico Madrid are one of my favourite respective footballing clubs daily and ever in this world and other planets and for sure,in future,I would want to only go for their stadium tour and enjoy visiting each and every departments of the stadium to learn more about the club's history and tradition, good friends!!!:-D
Hey Sam. You mentioned coming to Ireland in the summer in the previous video. I live in Dublin and myself and my 7 year old son love watching your videos together. We are Shelbourne supporters (and Liverpool). We just got promoted this season and are having a bit of a roller coaster season (were strong in the past with good European run..... relegated for financial reasons). The aim this year is just to stay up. Our manager is former Ireland International Damien Duff. There was a plan to knock our ground Tolka Park and move in with rivals Bohemians but after a successful campaign called "Save Tolka Park", last week the council voted not to rezone the land and the old ground has been saved. It's a great football success story. A visit to Tolka for a video would be very interesting and the atmosphere is excellent. Any of the Dublin derbies (Bohemians, Shamrock Rovers or St. Patrick's Athletic) would be good and I'd be happy to sort a ticket for you and have a chat at a game. The young lad would love to meet you and say hello. Well done on a great channel. Barry.
I also did the Vicente Calderón tour. The stadium was completed in 1966 and someone else on the tour commented on how old it looked. As a Morton fan I found this rather amusing in view of Cappielow having been in existence since 1879.
@@lornamcwilliam8251 yea you could really sense the history in the Calderón....I did the Wanda tour in 2018, I don't think it was open that long then so I suppose I can't really complain
I paid 30€ for a ticket to see them play Rayo Vallecano back in January, their prices do fluctuate depending on the opposition. Also did the tour about three years back, think I paid 18€ and found it worth it, I love the stadium personally. I saw a lot of matches at the old Calderón, and while it was legendary Madrid winters can be very harsh and it wasn't much fun in there from November to February lol. Atléti fans don't seem to have found the transition to the Wanda as hard as Arsenal have found the move to The Emirates, for example. By and large they like their new home.
That's what not only frustrates me but infuriates me about Arsenal fans who've accepted the steady decline of our club which has led us to our current position because moving into a new stadium should not cause such decline, especially when success brings more revenues which would've helped Arsenal reduce the stadium debts sooner instead of taking the naive and longwinded process.
Went 3 years ago great stadium, literally had the place to myself. Museum could do with a lot more content related to past players to make up for all the trophies you would see elsewhere
Great video. But 180 euros for a game. The tour and the shop. You spend a lots of money the last few days haha. You are doing a great job. Great video. Hope you are going to Arbroath for their playoff game.
Thanks Sam, another good one. Have a look at the Glasgow coat of arms, about the fish, the bell, the tree, it’s a good story. Yeah, that game at Celtic park, Atletico were disgraceful , kicked them all over the pitch.
Atletico does not kick, that was abusive starters who wanted to sell in the final season of the champions. Here in Spain, the sports press goes against Atletico, it is easy to see all kinds of manipulation against it. Friends don't believe that rubbish, it's all in defense of Barça and Real Madrid 🤷♂
I remember doing a tour of the Camp Nou and a kid in the mid 1990's and they had no English translations on anything. Being 8 I couldn't speak Spanish so it felt like a wasted opportunity.
Those chemists with the temperature and time displayed on the cross outside have always struck me - I wonder why we don't have something like that here in the UK, because it's a very useful idea!
I know there's nothing left of the old Calderon stadium, but are you going to do a vid looking at the site of the stadium or is there nothing worth filming there?
do not be fooled by these people, prices are a shame. people who own La Liga are corrupts and mercenaries and have insane prices that's why there are a lot of empty seats in each game. I wish this change and be able to buy less expensive tickets
I like Juventus stadium or San Mamés ten times more. And sure there are bettering stadiums I don’t know about. Wanda is too wide, it is like an american stadium. They had the Vicente Calderón, a nice old stadium with an avenue running beneath one stand, and they demolished it to build this. What a disgrace.
Totally agree. I wanted to have been in our beloved temple: Vicente Calderón Stadium. A much more central stadium in the city, in an emblematic place for Madrid, with the Pradera de San Isidro very close, which had many possibilities with its reform. But the board preferred to do business, selling the land and taking the team to the outskirts of the city.
Obviously a troll. Juventus stadium is in a northern suburb hard to get by public transportation. A soulless place where they sell you cashmere sweaters. Good only for the prawn sandwich brigade. As for San Mames, I would love it more where it not for the fact that it was built with public money. I miss the Calderon but with pressure to improve the road under one of the stands, there was little option to stay.
The tour was OK but I think it could've been a bit better. Watch til the end to find out why!
Get to Sevilla
