Theres no confirmation on when Tata and Vedanta will start manufacturing iPhones in India, but if it happens in a few months, they could start with the newly launched iPhone 14. Several past reports stated that Apple is looking for alternate manufacturing sites to reduce dependency on China.
Ratan Tata is a legend he will dip his toes in absolutely everything and will make the best out of it . He likes to establish a plant by doing all the work himself at first and then once it is successful he will move on to setting up a new thing. This way he has helped tremendously to improve our India’s infrastructure and contributed so much to the growth of India!

I don't think the price of iPhone will drop to 40k as you suggested. Maybe they'll be a price drop, but not that severe of a drop.

Of course lol there will be no such heavy price drops, there is a standard and limit for the price, if they reduce more then whole cheap people will buy it on EMI and we quality consumers will lose the value, iPhone must be lil expensive and pro models will be 1 lakh+ at least

They won't reduce the price of Iphones. It'll simply increase their profits. Cost will still be more. Only import duties will be saved. That's just how apple works lol. They know their consumers will pay hefty amounts just to show off😄

People only buy oneplus flagships and Samsung flagships(Notes/Ultra) because iphone pro models are very costly due to import taxing. If pro models drop to Samsung ultra price range then it will be a big hit to Samsung

Hello Gaurav, there is a point in this video where you told that Apple didn't decreased the price of previous iPhone and I think there is a good and strong reason for not doing so and I think if they are intelligent enough they will not decrease the price of iPhone even if they will be manufacture in India.

Smartphone has became commodity item. It's hard to make profit selling Smartphone nowadays if you're not China. Even Chinese companies saw thin profit margin in this business. Those are successful Smartphone companies around the world. China has scale, complete supply chain and supportive government that allow them to manufacture Smartphone at lower cost. Tata is lacking on those aspects.
