tas you gave me one of your revolution skate decks when i was a kid working at the county fair in the san francisco bay area for some rib dinners when i was working at a bbq there and then signed it for me. i still have it. since i met you i joined the united states marine corps and had done some terrible things to people in afghanistan and thought how on earth could there even be a god in a world like this. but after watching this, I think I may read the bible sir. its funny how you still inspire me brother, and for that I say thanks.

It might be worth reading a Bible brother - and find out for yourself what God is like. Grace, mercy, truth, justice. Those things are part of God's character. Sure, He judges people for their sin - but that's a good thing, isn't it? Otherwise there's no justice in this world.
Steve when was the last time you read old testament? Its ok if you beat your slave and he dies in a few days, you should stone people who work on sabbath etc? In Genesis 7:21-23, God drowns the entire population of the earth: men, women, children, fetuses, and animals. In Exodus 12:29, God the baby-killer slaughters all Egyptian firstborn children and cattle because their king was stubborn. In Numbers 16:41-49, the Israelites complain that God is killing too many of them. So, God sends a plague that kills 14,000 more of them. In 1 Samuel 6:19, God kills 50,000 men for peeking into the ark of the covenant. In Numbers 31:7-18, the Israelites kill all the Midianites except for the virgins, whom they are allowed to rape as spoils of war. In 2 Kings 2:23-24, some kids tease the prophet Elisha, and God sends bears to dismember them

Each of those examples - and there are plenty more - are cases where various people have sinned terribly - and God has judged them. Interestingly, it's always after repeated warnings to stop it or face the consequences. Particularly with Pharaoh - 10 plagues - warning after warning after warning. And remember these warnings are to a guy who is the last one in a line of Egyptian rulers who enslaved, beat, whipped, murdered etc - including drowning the male babies of the Hebrew slaves. tas is a fucking legend looked up to him and his bro as a youth then I been in some similar situations later in life then I seen his movie and wrote to him on fb and he replied straight away . deffo a true real dude. no one knows what hes been threw in the jail losing folk not being able to speak before there last days . keep it up tas man you give me hope in times of darkness that there is light at the end of a drug fulled tunnel , if its god that's helped him then let it be fuck the haters they don't matter . look at him now happy as fuck loving life. im well happy for the guy and this story really hit me and I couldn't stop thinking about it as its so sim ilar to stuff ive seen and done . respect to tas and billyben from rory in scotland
