I admire Caballero as it could not be any other way, but I disagree with this topic and christians in general. I understand religion is sometimes a way into meditation but I can argue they overcomplicate the path. I've been a zen buddhist for around 26 years and and atheist since forever. I could make a point about what he says at 3:00 You don't find enlightenment by reading about it, but by doing the meditation. You don't even need to read about zen at all after you are into it. If you do the meditation, there comes a moment in which you realize the enlightening has always been there the whole time. As I say, to my understanding praying is what people do in many religions (including buddhism) to get near meditation, but it's not the meditation itself. It can help, but you can skip it as well. I personally believe in meditation, not in prayer, and i believe in the awareness of the heart, not in Jesus. I could claim with confindece that christians should agree with me that awareness of the heart is the important thing. What I do is skipping the Jesus part. If prayer is a path to Jesus, meditation is a path to awareness of the heart.

surelly one of best skater ever for me. The part where he describes the altercation with the skinheads is really sad and nearly brought me to tears. You can feel Ray's confusion and his struggle to understand why there is so much hatred from these people. The way Ray tells it is incredibly moving. this guy as a soul beautiful

I ran into you once qhen you were at an old friend's skatepark. You did a nosegrind and then did a heelflip out. You chuckled abd saud to me "Did you see that?" I said "Ya that was rad!"...then you said yo me "I don't know how i kanded that because I wasnt trying it" Then we both laughed...wgat a great memory of you.

Tas and Ben were rad beyond their years. I saw them for the first time in some contest in NYC we stumbled across while on a bar crawl, I had gotten out of skating at that point so I didnt know who they were, but Ben won the contest and I been a fan ever since, through the good times and bad...

In the late 80's, Ray Barbee and Franky Hill opened the next level. Ray for the style, Franky for the "balls" ! ;o)

Those were not Skinheads. I have been a Skinhead for 36 years… we listen to reggae, rocksteady and ska. We don’t see color at all. Can we call bald white supremacists by a better name? Like shitheads? You encountered Shitheads. A real skinhead would have had your back there.
