- Over the past year I have noticed that about 80% of people that get into my car ask if they can vape. I don't allow passengers to smoke cigarettes in my car but I'll allow vaping. I must say, though, I'm noticing a problem...

A cup of vinegar left in the car overnight can get rid of smell. Then it will just stink of vinegar for a couple of days. ozone treatment is also effective. Loved the video as usual 👍🏻
Also a dish of baking soda works - or even better, one of those newfangled boxes of baking soda that are made specifically for putting in the fridge that have the permeable “windows” on both sides so air can pass through for better filtration & deodorization.
(Plus that way you don’t have to worry about the vinegar stank or the smell/potential health hazards posed by ozone 🥶)
Or charcoal it's odourless and will pull any smell with ease 👌🏽
Or do nothing. I'm not sure how he can smell anything. Nobody has ever complained about a smell in my car. I can't smell anything leftover from vaping and I let everyone vape in my car.

Make sure you take off the air freshener if you get in an accident because your insurer can refuse to give you insurance cover because they believe that it is an "obstruction of view"

Sounds like something only a low life cop/insurance rep would go for. Every car I've owned for the last 8 years has always had my dash cam up and at least one air freshener in the mirror at a time. 2 accidents and a lot of other run ins with the cops and never been an issue. I have one of those friends that just piles up the black ice fresheners on his mirror and has like 20+ on at a time who has been in a lot more accidents than me and never had an issue with it either. Biggest issue I've honestly had is them not believing my side of the story hence why I always run a camera.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure cops can use it as an excuse to pull you over. I don’t know for sure, it was just brought up in Better Call Saul and it was the same reasoning. Obstructed view. It’s best to put it on your turning signal.

Vaping leaves a weird residue on your car windows as well. And don't forget that the people who are with you in the car actually get second hand nicotine. Never vape close to kids and always ask the people in the same room or car if it's okay.

the remaining smell in cars you vape in is often from the PG/VG/Nic Salts in the vape juice still lingering in the vapor and attaching to the cloth panels in your car thus leaving that stale smell.

At the start of my career when I worked in different care and nursing homes I was shocked at the number of residents who were getting it on, or even giving themselves a little bit of love! I heard that at one home they had such an issue with a particular STI/STD in the home's community that they started supplying all residents with condoms. Obviously, you can't force people to wrap up, that's up to them, but they did provide condoms to residents on a regular basis to encourage them to protect themselves and others from catching STIs and I hear that, along with education, it was pretty effective.
Older folk definitely have a lot of sex, a heck of a lot more than I do, that's for sure! And whilst I may be a tad jealous of just how active their sex lives are, I think it's great!

Vaping is completely different from smoking. It doesn't smell like shit or wreck the interior of your car. It may make your air filters smell fruity but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I let people vape in my car if they want to, despite myself not being into it.

I don't let my fiance vape in my car because those vapors stick to everything. Especially the windshield and if not wiped off, will start to mess up visibility by freezing and fogging over and then smearing like oil (because that's what it is) and makes the window worst making me have to deep clean and scrub my windows. So, no vaping in my car please.
I can attest to how well air fresheners work, my car smells like nothing to me know because I've become nose blind but everyone who I give a ride says it smells really good.

Evidence out there is vapping is just as bad if not worse than smoking. Not sure about second hand though. Actually in most of Canada smoking not allowed in workplaces contained that is so you can’t even allow it even if your own car if you are an employee.
Would be interesting to see what your sources are. Big Tabaco companies have been notorious throughout the years, since vaping has become a popular substitute for smoking, for financing very biased "studies", that intentionally skew data. From what I've seen, vaping is far more safer than combustible cigarettes, and the effects of it are minimal, aside from the nicotine itself. I can't remember exactly the study, let alone find it right now, but there was a study done on vaping where they concluded that the vapor is highly carcinogenic, and burns lung tissue. However, if you actually read how they conducted the experiment, they pretty much burned nearly dry cotton by holding down the firing button on the device for long periods of time, on a fairly high wattage. When in reality, you only hold down the firing button for a couple seconds at most, on completely saturated cotton, and people normally (on average) only vape from 50~100 watts. The temperatures are high enough to create vapor, but it's honestly not a huge difference between that, and the heat that a cigarette butt puts off. There is a lot of money being taken away from big tobacco companies, and isn't a far stretch to conclude they absolutely would run biased studies to favor cigarettes as a "safer" option, even though they have been ousted many times, to where they can no longer deny the harm they do. The smart thing is to not do either, obviously, but people will do what they want to either way. I vape myself, and have been for the past 8 years. Used to smoke as a teen, then got turned onto vaping as a cleaner option. I won't deny that I haven't actively tried to stop all together. I'm addicted to nicotine. I don't like it, but it's very difficult to quite an addiction.
bro your lying every work place here allows smoking. Employers dont get to choose what you do on break. Dunno where youv worked but its illegal for them to deny you to smoke.
@@3dp_edc yo. Dude BC Workers Compensation Act makes it illegal to smoke at the Worksite. If you are ón your break you can smoke outside if your employer allows smoking on the property. Even then you have to be 15 feet away from doors and windows that last bit provincial health regulations. The same applies to vaping.

and im positive they cant tell you what to do on your break you want to step off property and smoke employer has no say. If they tell you otherwise, theyre lying to you and its illegal for them to deny you a break, which on a break you can do whatever you please long as your back to punch back in. Id go as far as to say you can probably report your employer if they dont allow you to smoke on break. I know here, if they didnt let me, i would be, and i would win.
