Hi Darren, I really enjoyed this compilation of yours. Funny, that the experience you are transporting here, is exactly the reason why I kept on driving taxi in Germany so much longer than I needed to. Okay, it was 25 years back, but the stories pretty much fit. My hometown at that time was still occupied by british troops, occupying two barracks in town. So every payday troops would pour out of the barracks into the city, to party through their salary. The situations you show here, exactly show what made it worth for me at that time, without all the social media bullshit going on today. It was all fun an games, but not for the world to share with. Speaking of 5-year olds stories:
When i was around 7-8yrs old, i had a huge love for the taste of Electricity, be it the flat battery ones, or in charge ends, or other things.
One of them days when i was tasting an A-battery, i ended up swallowing it. Doctors tested my stomach and "yup, its in there allright".
I'm sure its out by then, but i like to belive that 11 years later (or something, i'm 19 now), that its still there 😂

I can understand the anger at the McDonald’s part but also understand from the other side of it as used to work there myself and some systems are set to start the system update at certain time every night and when it starts not much you can do when it starts. I used to just funnel all the random food we had left over off to the drunk people who were unfortunate to come thru at time that it started system update (FYI the one I worked at for years was set to start it every night at 4am and thankfully wasn’t often that drunks would still be out at that time
