This video showcases the design and manufacturing process of the reproduction Fresnel lens for the Harbor Beach Lighthouse in Michigan, to be installed July 2015.
It is beyond my understanding how you can make such a beautiful product and video and play music. How about explain what you are doing and the excellent craftsmanship. What a beautiful product.
What needs to be explained? You can see what's going on start to finish, It shows CAD images, it shows parts being water jet cut from brass stock, it's shows them polishing, then it goes on to show how the acrylic is machined and polished, it shows them assembling the parts and setting the glass.. I mean.. What's to explain?
Man, that is just sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo so cool! I gotta get tooled up to do that. I think it would be such an awsome thing to be able to do that for the folks that need them, as well as others like me who don't!!! Thanks soo much for posting!
