I used 8.8 creature stumps for a month now and 151 thunder standard,56mm bones v6. I like big boards now. I saw in your ig and yt that you flip your boards like a small boards. Im a beginner and 5’10” and really comfortable using big boards rather than 8.3 deck.
I'm really enjoying my Powell Flight deck as well for riding transition. The fact the wheelbase is longer and the board is wider just makes you feel like you're floating. I'm currently rocking the Anderson 9.13 and wanted to get your thoughts on what you like and dislike about the Cab deck?
You may like the Anderson because it resembles more of a traditional skateboard shape compared to a lot of other old school decks. I honestly love the Cab deck so much! It's one of my favorite boards so far! It does have a lot more concave which was un expected, but works really well if you still like to flip your board from time to time. Now... The one complaint is.... They are hard to find and I can only find this one pink color way. I wish there were other flight decks out there that you don't have to pay $175+ and up from re seller's. The cab deck is honestly the perfect blend and shape into getting use to old school style boards. Still has a big enough nose to do nollie tricks and a wide enough tail so I feel comfortable slashing! My final verdict... There is nothing bad about the Cab deck at all in my opinion! Hahaha I'm currently thinking about getting another or trying a wood deck ( which I haven't in 2 years and I'm very scared to haha)
Does this work for both street and transition? I’m a beginner and I think I want to do both. I have an 8.25” Powell peralta Vallely deck (popsicle shape) with Mini Logo tricks (risers underneath), medium-hard bushings, and currently it has 54mm wheels but I’m going to swap them out for 56mm
I actually haven't tried those! I've just stuck with the 159 hallow lights! I think there the perfect blend to skate street as well as skate transition. Can still flip the board and also keep the weight glued to my feet 🙏
I would also say a 56 mm is a good size for skating both street and transition, but moving to 58 won't hurt you. Might have to relearn or get use to some stuff, but of that is the end goal and the size you want to ride. The sooner you start the better :)
Fire set up dawg🤘🔥 my set up rn is a DGK deck, primitive trucks, and slime ball wheels
DGK decks are sick! Had a lot of them one I was younger!! Sounds like a valid setup especially with the slime ball wheels!!🙏🏽🙏🏽
I love this deck. It's a do it all type of deck. Looks great too.
I agree man I stared riding OJ mini combo wheels and I love them. Been looking at getting the bam this deck and this sold me.
So hyped it did!!!! Definitely a killer setup and enjoyed every minute of it! Glad you enjoyed the video 💪

Have you tried the 159 forged titaniums? It sounded like you found them too light and preferred the weight of the forged hollows.
