Thanks for the playthrough. It's got me looking at a game that I didn't think I'd really ever enjoy. I like the story and the way it sets future plays up.
Nice playthrough! I'm hoping to play my copy soon, and it was nice to see the game flow so when I read the rules I will have context and can jump in to playing quickly👍
Great playthrough. A few folks on Discord have the game and love it. Glad to see you bringing some solo love back, even though we of course miss Frances. You had mentioned it has a good organizer? I wish you had shown it just a little at the end as I haven't seen any pictures yet. But still, great videk, as always (honestly never seen a bad video from you, even games where i watch and realize there is zero interest in the game itself for me heh).
Great video, thank you for a great quality video and zooming to show the actions in details. I think I spotted a mistake when you discard a card from the top. You took both brown and red). from the rules: Dismiss: Place the Townsfolk Card into the Townsfolk Discard Pile, and gain the items shown in the top-left corner (only those on the brown background).
I think you got the endgame wrong. You should also refresh the barbarian and townsfolk cards and get over 7 barbarians which makes you lose. At least that's what I understood from the rules.
40:30 can't take those two yellow workers off the board you already used them to gain a blue worker and a provision, they arent available again until the next harvest, so you wouldnt have been able to take out that barbarian

Yeah it pretty cool and I love to see more solo only games being produced.
Thanks for sharing. You're right, it's all about having fun.
At 45:38 you forgot to advance the flood 🫣🫣🫣
That would make him lose on the next shuffle. Also, we would lose because there were at a certain moment 7 Barbarians.

I just ordered this game. Thanks for making another great playthrough.
Awesome!

Did you forget to trash a provision at 25:50?
This game reminds of a old Stefan Feld game; Year of the Dragon.
Geez buddy , you had 7 barbarians out , you lose !

You may be right! It was close either way.
You actually lost in the 58th minute when you placed the 7th barbarian in the last spot at the top of the board. Your whole last round didn’t count 😢
We’ll look at that, solo Anthony 😉. A euro w a story? I’m down.

Yeah realized that afterwards
Haven't you lost the game at the point when there are only babarians on top of the map?
