  • Oven Roasted Potatoes baked in 2 different ovens, at the same temperature - the results are the same, with delicious roasted potatoes, but the cook time is significantly different. So easy to make, using basic ingredients, but amazing results.

    Oven Roasted Potatoes
    Ingredients
    • Potatoes (preferable yellow fleshed or red potatoes)
    • Extra Virgin Olive Oil (enough to generously coat the potatoes)
    • Sweet Paprika (enough to generously coat the potatoes)
    • Dried Oregano (to taste)
    • Salt (to taste)
    Process
    • Peel potatoes and wash them.
    • Cut potatoes in half lengthwise and then in half again lengthwise (i.e. Cut in quarters lengthwise)
    • Then cut into 1 ½ inch - 2 inch cubes and place in a bowl
    • With a towel or paper towel, dry all the potatoes - the dried the better
    • Season with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, enough to generously coat each piece of potato, toss to coat.
    • Season with paprika, enough to generously coat each piece of potato, toss to coat.
    • Season with salt and oregano, toss to coat.
    • Place a sheet of parchment paper on a cookie sheet or oven tray, and place potatoes on top, spread them out, and any residual olive oil /seasoning in your bowl, use a spatula and add that to your potatoes.
    2 cook methods - take your pick
    1) Using a Toaster Oven
    Place tray in a toaster oven, no pre-heat required, and set temp to 375 degrees F. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes, depending on the level of doneness/darkness preferred.
    2) Using your Stove’s Oven
    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
    Place tray in oven and bake for 50 minutes up to 60 minutes, depending on level of doneness/darkness preferred.

    Sorry, Ivo, but I believe there’s an error @10:38, you said “25 minutes at 475”, which should have been “at 375”. I love this recipe and will definitely try it. Thank you!

      Oh!! You're right - I slipped up and accidentally said 475....I know it's too late to edit it, but at least in my instructions below, it clearly states 375 and I will see if our webmaster can at least add some sort of note.
