      You are going to love this bread - I can't wait for you to try it!! My family is from Abruzzo - my mother from the village of Pacentro, half way up a mountain, and my Father from Tocco da Casauria - both villages are amazing and of course, great food :)

      I make my passata in late Aug or September, during the tomato harvest - so this year, I will try to film it and share that recipe/method as well :) Home made is always best

    Don’t you need to drain the fat from browning the meat??

      ...I do not drain any of the fat.....it all adds up to great flavor :) I also use lean ground meat and that helps
