    The heck with a short film, you should do a full length feature film, a movie!! You should also write a book. You should do both Jimmy.

'm using quotes because I'm not sure if what they were doing was dating or just clapping cheeks as the kids say today lol but her name was mentioned in another documentary that focused on Paciello, his nightclubs, and that whole scene back in the early 90s (crazy but good times).

    Result...you maintained integrity, honesty, and so there wasn't premeditation, but it WAS a death during a team-handed armed attempted robbery, which is not favored in N.Y. So well done for getting the picture faster than most, Jimmy.

    • @DarlingNikki2
      @DarlingNikki2 Місяць тому

      I saw an amazing documentary about the Bath Avenue crew by A&E Investigates (I think that was the name of the series, it's been a minute) and it was stated that Tommy Reynolds was heavily into cocaine during this time and when he went to help with the robbery, he was coked out of his mind. That would explain why the gun 'accidentally' went off because he didn't know what he was doing being coked out. What was even worse than this poor woman's murder was the fact that her 9 year old daughter saw it happen because she was on the stairs when her mother answered the door and there was no million dollars in the house. Really a tragic situation all around. I can tell that it still haunts Jimmy to this day and I hope he has sought forgiveness from God for his part in her death, unintentional as it was. Repentance and atonement through telling these stories to keep impressionable kids from going down that same dark road and creating tragic circumstances.

    So Calandra says they didn't go there to kill anybody. Yet they brought loaded firearms. And they had those firearms out and pointed at the lady's head with their fingers on the triggers. How is that an accident. Did someone bump into him? No. Was there an earthquake? No. Calandra says it bothering him and how how sad he was about it. But this he only opened his mouth and gave up that murder when he was facing life in prison. If it bothered him so much he would have been overcome with grief and he would have went to the police. Chad Marks from Blood on the Razor wire channel got Tommy out of prison and if I remember correctly it was an immediate release. I understand Jimmy wanting to believe that Paulie G was this great guy who would never kill his own friends but let's be real if Spero gave him the order to kill either Reynolds or Calco he would've done the exact same thing they did to him. It's not optional, you can't say no, the local mob boss gives you the order to take someone out, friend or not, you have to do it or you're dead along with the friend who was the original target. Paulie wouldn't hesitated for a second if he was given the order. He physically touched/pushed Spero, even if he was a made guy that's a death sentence let alone him being an associate. They all chose that life, whether they feel like they were groomed or whatever, they chose that life. A lot of kids from that neighborhood had the exact same circumstances they had and never went in to a life of crime. They chose to become gangsters, especially Paulie, he made a huge mistake putting his hands on Spero and it cost him his life. There was no other way that situation was going to go down. It's as if Jimmy thinks Paulie would've refused the order if the roles were reversed or warned his friend or went to war with Spero but none of those things would've happened, he would've taken his friend out and go right back to whatever he was doing in the streets like nothing happened. Paulie had already committed multiple murders, another one, friend or not, wouldn't have phased him one bit. He was a full fledged stone cold gangster

    • @HamiltonRb
      @HamiltonRb Місяць тому

      @@Cardb33 I certainly didn’t know him or what he would have done, and neither do you, so we will never know if he would have got the message to his friends to leave town or done the deed. Jimmy knows him, we don’t, but it was a horrible dilemma either way.

    • @Cardb33
      @Cardb33 Місяць тому

      @@HamiltonRb You don't have to personally know him to use common sense. Paulie was a stone cold gangster, involved in a minimum of 5 murders that are known. He was dedicated to becoming a made man in the Bonanno family. Had he heard either Calco or Reynolds physically pushed Spero in a heated argument and was given the order to kill them you can't use common sense to determine what he'd have done? He gives the message to them and he gets killed for tipping them off, he stalls on it and he gets killed for it. There's absolutely no chance he makes a different decision than the one Calco and Reynolds made. He would've done what he was told and that would've been the end of it. It wouldn't matter what he personally felt, he would've took the order and done it like it was done to him. Jimmy wants to believe Paulie would've done something different, what would he have done different? The only option is to go to war with Spero and the Bonanno's and he definitely wasn't doing that so what would he have done? Any other option leads him and the "friend" to be killed. Common sense says he would've taken the friend out regardless of his feelings and just moved on from it. It wasn't up to Calco or Reynolds, Paulie was marked for death and they either do it or they get killed themselves. It's not like it was for no reason Paulie physically pushed the most powerful guy in that family (on the street), that's a death sentence for anyone let alone an associate. Use common sense man.

      @@DMx-q6w Yeah I'm sure he would've went to war against the entire Bonanno Family instead of kill his "friend" that messed up. Make it make sense. I don't care if you knew him or not it makes no sense. He's a gangster, he's going to make the best decision for himself as a gangster. He goes against Spero and the Bonanno's he's dead and the friend is dead too. It's ridiculous how you and Jimmy are trying to portray Paulie as being above taking out his friend. He would've done the exact same thing that Calco and Reynolds did.

    I know Jimmy was told (while in prison) that Paulie pushed Spero, but did anyone including Paulie actually ever confirm this? I just feel like he wouldn't have done that... and they all took advantage of Jimmy being locked up at the time, to tell him this (possible) lie.
    Like Jimmy says, they wanted his money.... and they were afraid of his brass.

      That show was a joke and disrespectful to real Mob Wives. None of those women were real Mob Wives. First of all real Mob Wife would never act the way those savages acted on that show. It was a complete embarrassment to the Mob. There were wiretaps of real Mobsters talking about that show and how disrespectful it was to Italian wives.

    Tommy Reynolds’s is actually getting out very soon or he might already be out. Chad Marks from Blood on the Razor wire channel got Tommy out of prison and if I remember correctly it was an immediate release. Chad was really close with Tommy in prison and said that Tommy had completely changed his life around and has felt extremely horrible about what happened to the lady. He is very remorseful and wishes that it never happened.
