- This is a perfect project to start your sewing journey with, or as a 'sewtosell' project (you can make many of these in 1 hour!!)
I used a medium weight canvas fabric (along with fusible woven interface) as my 'outer' which gave the end product a bit more stiffness and form. You could swap the interface for a fusible fleece if you want yours to have a more 'padded' feel.
I have made these as gifts for little girls from cute, patterned cotton fabrics and they work just fine but a fusible fleece is preferable then to give a little more form.

Do you have a slower video you can send to me please.
Hi Christine, thanks for your comment. I can make a slower version of the video if you wish.. I will aim to have it on my channel in the next 2 weeks - hope this helps.
Thanks again 😊

I just finished my first clutch bag. Your video is so easy to follow. Thank you!
Great ❤️🤗 I'm really glad you found it helpful. Thanks for watching ✨🙂
Hi😊
What fabric did you use?
Hey ☺️, for the outer I used a lightweight jacquard and just a plain cotton for the lining. The interface is fusible ..but totally optional. I use it to give a bit more strength and hold
Thanks for watching ✨✌️
I have made one today. As a birthday gift with a flower-coupon inside for my mother. She was verry happy with it. 🎉 Thank you for the video ❤
Brilliant, what a lovely idea for your mum. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment.🙌❤️

new to sewing, but wht is fuible interface?
Hi @spacekittyx9181
Interfacing is designed to give structure to a project .. so if your fabric is soft or flowing ..an interface will make it stiffer and more durable.
Most modern interfacings have heat-activated adhesive on one or both sides. They are affixed to a project piece using heat and moderate pressure, from a hand iron for example. This type of interfacing is known as "fusible" interfacing. Non-fusible interfacings do not have adhesive and must be sewn by hand or machine.
I hope this helps, thanks for watching and commenting.
Have a lovely day ☺️
Thank u so much, ur actually the first person to respond when I ask a question❤
@@spacekittyx9181 you're so welcome 🤗 I hope the answer was useful to you. Have a good day ❤️

Can u convert to inches?
Hi there, in inches as follows;
Outer fabric; 7.8 x 11.8
Interface; 7.4 x 11.4
Marker measurements;
10cm = 3.9 inches
5cm = 1.9 inches
Seam allowance:
1cm = 0.3 inches
Hope this helps 😊
