200 years? Took thousands of years of building the foundational knowladge to come together in the 20th century. Maths, physics, metalurgy, chemestry were alk diciplines built over lots of civilisations over 7000 years. At times religions created the protection for people to preserve and create knowladge. For example islam preserved anchien greek, roman texts from everything frim astrology and maths to plays and phylosiphy translated to arabic. Wher in europe all was lost during dark age. You realy need to study history from outside US system.
Exactly!! This is why I seriously have a problem with a lot of the statements and occurrences that the Bible depicts. It’s unnerving that some folks deeply believe every single word with zero understanding or knowledge of how badly the original “Word” has been edited and “adjusted” to match the laws at the time of the translations…plural. If a translator or copier (I’ve forgotten the name for them lol) didn’t like a certain word or statement or if anything was “illegal” at the time it was easily, quickly, and simply changed without a second thought. To me, that is scary as hell. To each their own!! I just hope that MY God will know my heart and not “punish or damn” me for being unsure of everything that is written in the Word. The more I learn about religion and history the more I realize that something actually happened in ancient times with this mysterious race. To what scale I have no idea but something definitely happened in ancient times with our ancestors and these self proclaimed “gods”. Something that we simply can’t know as ordered by our overlords. Jesus is the truth and the light but we must shine light on these wolves in sheep’s clothing.

It’s one of my fav books, but I also study the heretical texts and I get just as much out of those or say Hindu or Buddhist teachings, I think modern day Christian’s are too arrogant and naive. Atheists and agnostics aswell, they need to study the word as well otherwise they are zealots themselves.
