Congratulations a wonderful achievement, we did a roundish walk in the area finishing at Porthcurno only yesterday we have an elderly dog that I carry on my shoulder up the hills
Hallo Elli, very many congratulations on completing the JOGLE. What a fantastic achievement. I’m so impressed with anyone who has the guts and determination to carry out such a monumental task so we were delighted to see your joy as you finally walked into Lands End. But Otto? I have no words!!! What a remarkable dog he is. We loved watching him trotting on ahead, especially up those steep, endless steps on the South-West coast path - and then waiting for you, looking around as if to say “Well, come on then, lets get moving, I haven’t got all day you know”!! I am so disappointed with Lands End - a real let down for you to arrive in a cheap, tacky amusement park after so much effort - but we were cheering for you. We wondered what you were going to do next. Was Lands End, really going to be the end? But oh no, this was Ellie and Otto of course, so on you went! I do wonder it you ever thought “Well, I’m here now, I might as well finish the South-West coast path off and just carry on to Poole”!!! We are certainly going to miss your videos and your happy view on life and look forward to seeing your next adventures! Nochmals herzliche Glückwunsch für deine unglaubliche Leistung. John
Hahahaha, yes! As I’ve done the SWCP before I just knew that I didn’t want to finish at LE. Lizard Point imo is a lot more special and has a more calm and remote vibe :) thank you so much for your kind words, I really appreciate that! As for Otto: he really is the best dog and hiking partner. I think he loves our life on trail with so many biscuits, chips and a lot of crisps :)
A hearty congratulations for this segment of your hike for certain👍🏻 The muddy, steep, rock scrambling was an extra workout for both you & Otto👍🏻 Thankfully you both made it without any mishaps🙏🏻 Again I must say, the scenery is so beautiful along the coast and really enjoy you sharing a lil bit of the communities as you go through😃 Thank you so much for sharing with those of us who will never be able to experience in person😊 Take care, stay safe and see you next time Ms Elli👍🏻🙏🏻😃😊
Thank you so much for the kind words, I really appreciate you following along :) the coastline is so incredibly beautiful, I’m glad that I could show it a little bit!!
Well done Elli, its been amazing watching your journey. Otto and you can be very proud of this achievement that, i am sure, will stay with you for the rest of your life.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍Fantastic, well done guys, thanks for taking us along and all the best for the future. Brilliant series, your a star✨🌟✨safe journey home and once again, big thumbs up from me, congratulations, and all the best for the future. Dave aka wackyswanderings 👍👍👍😁😁😁🍻
As the sign Says Ellie ‘nice here’ (away from the crowds 🤔 )! It’s always crazy on a Bank Holiday no matter where you are in Britain. Good weather brings out all the litterbugs to mess up the malerische Gegenden. Many congratulations on completing the hike. Real inspiration. Again a great episode. Shame about the muddy, wet weather, but with Otto in the lead and a broken finger, quite an achievement 👍🏻
Thank you so much, Steven! I really appreciate your kind words and lovely comments every time. Yes it was crazy down there with so many people. But understandable as it’s so beautiful :)
It's been amazing watching your journey, your battle against the foot problem and will to succeed and get this adventure finished. Can't wait to see what adventures you will have in the future. For now, I hope you are enjoying your rest, both of you!
Just a huge congratulations and massive love to you both. It's been one hell of an achievement and one I'm proud to have had the pleasure to share with you xx
Congratulations Elli and Otto you are both awesome doing this amazing beautiful adventure. But also thank you both for taking us all these weeks taking us with you it's so wonderful seeing everything you both went through. Loved also all your views which many of us hiker's go though but also the pub and the coffee . Wishing you and Otto all the best for the future. Take care awesome beautiful lady and super dog Otto 🌷
Congratulations on your achievement Elli and Otto. I have so enjoyed watching these videos I think I’ve watched every one and I’m really going to miss. Thank you!
OMG That was a bit of a boggie path to cover. HI Elli and Otto, Once again a fantastic video and some beautiful footage. You should be very proud to reach land's end Wow almost the end of an amazing journey. I know I'm not alone when I say I'm proud of you both. Take care 😋✌️
Thank you so so much for your continued support, kind words and encouragement! That means the world and I'm really grateful :) Hahaha, yes - the boggy part was horrible. It doesn't even show on camera but it was really deep and no option of going aorund :/ hahaha
A big huge congratulations to you and Otto 🎉what an achievement you are right to be proud of yourselves that was an amazing journey, have really enjoyed watching your big adventure, well done and best wishes on your future walks 🎉
Well done, you are both awesome. I could never imagine such an achievement but I have so enjoyed watching you and so admire the way you have overcome all the obstacles.
Yes, I was very happy with my decision as I’ve been to both places before and just loved the more calm vibe of Lizard Point and didn’t want to finish among the crowd of people at Land‘s End…
Elli, you've mentioned litter on a number of occasions, and I want to thank you for taking the trouble to mention it. Litter is a huge problem throughout the UK and it is a national embarrassment which is not seriously addressed by our Government. When I think of your huge personal achievement and compare it to the 'litterers' and their lazy attitudes, there is a Grand Canyon separating the two frames of mind. I would love to see you employed by our Government to highlight this issue - and work to close the gap. But realistically the best that can happen is that you keep showing the litter. Thanks. Sheffield South Yorkshire.
You probably don’t realise what an inspiration you are. So much so that I am thinking of walking the SWCP. Only problem- I am late 60s pretty fit and walk about 6 miles a day but even so am I brave enough??
Thank you so so much for these kind words! You made my day and I'm so happy that I can do that through my videos :) Definitely consider the SWCP, it's so so special. It's so worth it, I promise ;)
I use trailrunners for hiking. I really like the Altra Olympus (in these video), sometimes I buy TopoAthletic Ultraventures too. The black things are lightweight gaiters. They're made of nylon, so not waterproof or anything, they just keep debris/sand out of the shoes to avoid rubbing etc ...
Congratulations a wonderful achievement, we did a roundish walk in the area finishing at Porthcurno only yesterday we have an elderly dog that I carry on my shoulder up the hills
This episode is marvelous my friend!
Thank you!
I'm so pleased for you both. Your journey was heroic and that makes you both hero's in my eyes!

Nice one! Can I ask what kind of shoes do you use? And that black thing on them? Thanks 😊

What date did you and Otto officially finish?
We finished end of August :)
I like the dog
