there were many times this year where the only sliver of comfort i managed to find was from this article. i would quite literally rush to it whenever things got too overblown. thanks for the voice over!
Thank you for this. I am doing my capstone on vapor wave and using many of Fisher’s work to develop it. I have never resonated with someone or thinker as much as I have with Fisher. He feels so human, hearing a British voice read this helps me immerse more.
Couldn't agree more. I love his work. Has helped me in understanding so much, particularly relating concepts like mental health and culture to class and capitalism more concretely. I'm glad you got something from this. Thank you!
Thanks for reading this and sharing. I wanted to read it but I find a human voice communicating these types thoughts and ideas extremely helpful. I really do appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing this reading of Mark Fisher's article. Excellent and sad, too.

It's such an extraordinary piece of writing isn't it. Similarly I've found a lot of comfort or validation from it. Thanks for listening. Solidarity!

@@TheInternetIsDeadToMe ah nice one mate. It's one of my favourites of Fisher's.
He’s right. He also engages in “magical voluntarism” thinking himself - there’s no “escape.” Also. “The last man lives longest.”
This is great
Thanks so much. I loved this article from the moment I read it. Found it so clarifying.
thank you!
