Do you mean one of the two Darlington's in the USA or the rapidly declining Darlington in the North East of England? I am 36 and when I was a child in the 90's it was one of the best towns in the country, not so much now. To use an analogy from its once great heritage, its a runaway train without any brakes. If you are moving here can a polity ask why? I am intrigued.
But that’s like saying doors are exotic because they were invented in Egypt or carpets are exotic because they originated from somewhere in the Middle East. Bananas and oranges are so normal and commonplace in British life that no one would consider them ‘exotic’ unless that person really was being pedantic or they had not visited a European supermarket since 1948. Now, if I’d seen some papaya or dragon fruit, then I think you would have a case. Anyway, thanks for watching.
@@JasonSmartTravel Doors & carpets are made here in the UK, as well as all over the world, incidentally not all of the towns in England have Greggs, the majority of towns still have independent bakers & smallier retail chain bakeries.
While you were on Skinner gate you should have gone to see the old Quaker grave yard. It has alot of graves of the Pease family. I'm not sure if it is still open to the public? but next time give it a try.
Not a bad attempt to describe Darlington, no doubt there will be some errors , but it is just a walk around by a Boro lad. funnily enough i never though of going to the Boro either !
Should have had a look in the library, it has been beautifully restored
I saw Ozzie Osborne and Toni Iommi at the Hippodrome in the late 60's. They were playing as 'Black Sabbath'.
About to move to Darlington from Texas, Thank you for the insight!!
Man you are in for a shock! What did you do wrong?
It's my hometown, the accent is gonna be hard for you haha

Darlington is slowly building its way up again have you not seen all the massive construction they’re doing? Especially things to do with trains
What went wrong?

Is it safe to live there?
"Nothing exotic in Darlington covered market" he says while wandering past bananas, oranges and pineapples. Well known British fruits one and all :P
