@@shaan702 I think it would work better to drop the Lord of the Rings story. That way you wouldn't have to worry about the story going off the rails. If someone died you could just vote in another AI and keep going. Chat can help create the story as they go and you could use that react button to give XP. When they level up they could learn a new ability or something. You could AI generate monsters to fight etc. I think the format works well overall, but I think the expectation of following the story is holding it back.
I'm writing an article called "pioneers of AI entertainment". Unfortunately my boss won't let me include mention to "lord of the cockrings" because it's too obscene for our audience. I know of a couple other publications writing similar stories as well, maybe you can be featured in one that is published online only.
You could maybe censor it. Similar to here on UA-cam.
It works better without any music/ambiance, because during the test of it a few days ago, it was hard to focus on what they where talking about. Their acting is carrying it.
But I think the backgrounds was a nice addition that doesnt take away anything.

What makes this great is the AI characters and seeing celebrities and streamers in these roles, not the interaction. The interaction isn't what's cool about this. The interaction isn't what makes this great, it's the AI. I would vote for less interaction. Half of chat wants a good story and the second half just wants to piss off the first half, so just like every "Twitch Plays ____" it all just becomes pointless and the more bored and disheartened chat gets the more they just wanna fuck up the story for lols
This! I get it.. keeping viewers engaged is like a Twitch thing, but I don't think it's needed for this. Just let the AI do their things, and let people watch. It gets derailed by user choice too much, seems to be breaking the flow.
This is good but, I understand why we need it. Less people relying on VODs and having an incentive to watch this live to be part of what unfolds. It's not a format that would be smart to change if I were Athene.

Also it's ironic how Esfanomir a jokey sidecharacter added just so Esfand would've a role would become such a MainCharacter in the story
They have some kind of plot but the AI creates the content out of it. You can try it with chat gpt or bing chat yourself. Tell it to tell a story, give it a bit of direction about what you'd like the story to be and that's it, it will write a story for you. The biggest difference is though, that Athene has different AIs that have been trained in different ways and of course that are allowed to implement swear words where chat gpt would just refuse using them because it was limited by their creators.

these ideas about chat having more and more choices are very cool and exciting, but chat is too stupid and is going to fuck it all up I PROMISE
This is stagnant until a better effort is made to handle emotional expression. Using a single 11labs voice model is not good enough. You need to multiple models for each character, one for each emotion. Then your prompt/response system needs to use hooks to automatically switch which 11labs model the response gets sent to. Then you stitch the output together, and you will have a much higher quality voice

Don't do music. Do ambience tied to the background image/location. That will make it more immersive.
Our brains are wired to focus on patterns so melodies and rhythms will distract from the dialogue. In movies music is mostly in between dialogue just for that. During dialogue ambience sounds work better. Or at most some vague very long stretched chords. Nothing repetitive is best. If you ask me that is.

I brought up Lord of the ****rings and remembered I never finished the story. I look up your channel and walah, unsubscribed. No wonder I haven't been seeing your stuff over the last month. Athene AI Heroes doesn't spread because of all the homosexuality innuendo. I don't think NSFW per-say is a problem, but the flavor of it.
Also Seinfeld was one of the biggest shows of all time and there are people that have no idea who any of these twitch and UA-cam people are so it isn’t relevant to them

Forsens voice is clearer today, did you guys improve the voice? Its better but his constant mumbling was quite funny.
I really like the show but the reason why it's not popular is that nobody cares about half of those twitch streamers. I don't even know why people watch those streamers in the first place. I wouldn't recommend this show to my worst enemy until there's a more relevant cast on the fellowship of the cockring mission/quest.

If the NSFW twist is too much that it is keeping this from going viral, try replacing that with a parody concept of mixing two or more different stories and genres that don't belong together like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars into one story.
I don't know if you read these comments Athene, but I think If people vote for an ethic shift in a character another character should shift good. Also choice votes should have ethic shift consquences. So if chat chooses an action for Gandalf that is an evil choice, it would shift his ethic as well as the story.

Even though there are only two choices you are still coming unprepared. I don't understand why after the audience makes a choice there has to be 30 minutes of downtime. Stay or run shouldn't result in 30 minutes of downtime when its a question you know is coming. I love watching this everyday but it isn't worth tuning into live or watching long form. You are coming to work unprepared even though you know what you have to prepare for. If you had choices with more depth than stay/go, yes/no than you'd have an argument for not being ready. I am pretty sure that was the only story branch that was a choice this episode aswell making it lamer. I would rather get alot more content than choices if the choices can't be improved.

Another thing, you could try to make your content less offensive is to stop with the NFT stuff. There is no public good that can ever be done with NFTs ever and never will be. The only reason why I'm still watching is because no one else is doing this AI content yet. Otherwise, I would stop watching because I don't want to support NFTs.
NFT's are literally just digital assets, they are the future of a digital world. Those pointless JPEGS are just proof of concept. With NFT's everything digital like games or game-items or meta-verse stuff can be traded on the blockchain.

The only reason it has nft technology is so that once people decide to stop playing they can legally sell their progress to another player who would want it. Not to mention the point behind his game is to help support Universal Basic Income programs. @Joshua Pardy people already trade digital assets. Don't need a new bank or some middleman vendor taxing me to trade a crappy 2 cent gun skin in call of duty. Steam makes millions on this type of trading already.
