This video on hiring was a real eye-opener! I learned the importance of setting clear expectations from the very start. The bit about giving employees the freedom to choose their off days, as long as they communicate, was refreshing. It was surprising to learn how vital it is to present tasks with a personal touch, like recording a video of yourself explaining it. Also, the emphasis on evaluating your own instructions if things go wrong was a great reminder that it's not always the employee's fault. Finally, seeing how to approach time tracking differently based on what fits best is something I hadn't considered before. This was super useful, thanks!
Hi Brittany, that's a challenging question to answer. But it really depends on the 'checklist' that you have. If there are traits or characteristics that you want in a worker, aside from the skills that is required of them, then they can be in your shortlist
@@carpettunnel8837 Not all employers do, but there are some that have actual contracts. We also encourage virtual assistants to create their own contracts for professionalism. Right now, we don't really have a standard policy, as it varies depending on the employer's needs.

You have to provide them computer or they use their own?
Hi Nlly, most of the time they already have their own computer or laptop, or they will invest in their own computer before working online
Do you offer you policy and email you send to your new employees?
Sorry, what do you mean?
Onlinejobs.ph A draft of the policy e-mail you send to employees.
