Hi, I’m from Japan~
You should go to Osaka and Kyoto next time:) I live in Osaka and I go to university in Kyoto. In Osaka, you can enjoy Japanese modern culture and in Kyoto, you’ll see really Japanese things! It takes about 30min to an hour from Osaka to Kyoto by train.

@@09zara09 hey! Im not the OP but I also live in Kyoto and go to university in Osaka! For Kyoto, I would probably recommend kinkakuji, ginkakuji, arashiyama, shimogamo Jinja, and all the other temples/shrines (you can probably find a list if you look at google). If you're into hiking, you can hike up daimonji, which will take about 2 hours (google the history of the mountain, it's pretty cool). If you feel like going shopping, I'd recommend going to kawaramachi doori or the underground plaza at Kyoto station. You could also hit up Kyoto tower.
As for Osaka, I don't really know much but there's a ferris wheel near umeda station in hep 5 (big red building, can't miss it) that's worth checking out if you're ever there. There's also a hiking spot in Minoh Osaka called Minoh Falls which is apparently really beautiful but I've never been.

Omg when I was on holiday to Japan I went to Sesoji Temple but only got like 1 hour there -I was with tour and on peak season, too crowded, so I don’t even know there was that paper fortune 😢 Should’ve done that before, well that means need to go to Japan again I guess 😂

4:06 next time you guys go, try and get an IC card from the machine instead. It works like a debit card where you can input as much money as you want at a train station ticket machine and can be used on trains, convenience stores, and certain other shops. If you're going to stay in Tokyo only get either the Suica or PASMO, but if you're also going outside of Tokyo get the Suica.
