Italiano Inglese Ascolta..,davvero,troppo bello! Listen .., really, too good! Already splendid the beach, the promenade ..., here in Italy, there are beautiful places, but such long beaches, splendid to travel, along the sea, we do not have any. You did well to film it so you gave us the opportunity , through your eyes, to make us dream of being there. Thanks .., what a treat!💋👏❤️👍🇮🇹
I am mesmerized, and I am not even on the stationary. Just watching this peaceful pace with the crashing of the ocean relaxed me in minutes. A perfect video to watch while on a stationary bike. Thank you, kudos
Lived in O'Side from 1985 till 1993. Right up from Wisconsin a 1/2 mile. The strand looks pretty similar to what it looked like when I lived there. Rode my Cannondale up and down the strand maybe a thousand times!
Ah! That was a great bike ride, good to spend some time by the ocean. With Covid restrictions just now we are not permitted to travel to the coast... Cheers ;-)
I first moved to Oceanside in 1974 and none of this was there then. It was an older city sitting right next to camp Pendleton marine base. I moved back to the Midwest in 1979, and still none of this was there. The coast of Oceanside was small then and the downtown area was older and a few blocks East from the coast. Some older businesses, bars etc closer to the coastline. I'm thinking that some of Camp Pendleton must have been sold to developers to make this part of Oceanside because as I said, it didn't have this much coastline back in the 1970's. Directly South of Oceanside ran into Carlsbad with no beach or highway in between, they merged right into one another. I always liked driving North up the old coast highway through Pendleton and towards the beach towns on the other side of Pendleton because there was miles and miles of empty coastline and nothing on the opposite side of the road either, just land. I imagined that is how California must have looked in the early 1900s. So, I'm thinking that the state must've have worked out getting some of that empty Pendleton land to build all of this. I'm blown away by how much Oceanside has changed in 50 years, a relatively short amount of time. I like it better for the most part. It had some much older businesses near the coast of Oceanside then, some small houses towards Carlsbad but absolutely no condos at all back then and nothing like this walkway in front of houses and condos along the beach like it shows in this video. Oceanside used to have a really nice old harbor though and I'm sad to see that gone. It must have been where the long piers are now. The harbor piers/docks didn't sit up nearly that high as these long piers do either and there were restaurants and little shops on them and, of course, smaller boats harbored there. It's really a shame that's gone because that was a fun place to go. I can't remember how many docks there were that joined together and went out to make up the harbor, but you could walk around on it enjoying the little gift shops and then go to a nice restaurant afterwards to finish off your day. There used to be a small place with an all you could eat buffet and every so often they would have the biggest King crab legs that I'd ever seen there and everything freshly caught. I've never seen crab legs that big since either. I've told many people about that harbor and that little restaurant that I loved there. It's such a disappointment that it's gone. I'd always hoped to visit it again someday.
Hello, there is a note and a request for you in the future, do not visit through the same places several times because it is not interesting, because I think there are many other interesting places that not only I but also other subscribers would like to see !!! I always put LIKE after your video !!! :)
I disagree, I often go to the same beach to walk even though I have a multitude of beaches to choose from because I live in Southern California a few miles inland from the Pacific Ocean in Irvine.
Your thumbnail shows a 1980s version of the strand, with the salmon colored Roberts Cottages back before the bug-eyed greedy developers and city manager and council members destroyed the quaint charm.

You should walk in cool areas of the San Fernando Valley like Old Granada Village and Ventura Blvd. I think it would be a cool change of pace.
23:56 grandma got places to be 😂😂😂
I felt like I was there! Love the sun! I wont see it until May or June! Thanks for the break from election madness!
Thanks!
The pedestrians who wouldn’t get out of your way were sooooo frustrating! I wasn’t there but I felt myself getting angry on your behalf.
Thank You
Amazing!
Nice ride yo!
Nice
My Home town somehow you caught my dad in the video towards the end lifeguard tower 7 with the beach cruiser 13:39
Good tour, I've been through the same bike path a few times...are there any other in Oceanside?
Beginning of the video you can turn off on San Luis Reyes Trail that’s about 9 miles long and heads east to Vista
@@Bearnut1978 I am actually coming from that direction...
Hi. BRO 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
17:09 Baz's house in the show Animal Kingdom :)
25:30 What are these orange houses ?
It's called Roberts Cottages.

Lots of unused beachfront. Looks like a good place for a homeless encampment.
