I am confused w.r.t. to Sr no. 20 - We go to our son ----> Wir gehen zu unserem Sohn. Here, while "zu" is a Wechsel preposition, movement is also suggested through "gehen" and that should make it an Akkusative case. So, should it not be "Wir gehen zu unseren Sohn" ? In this sentence, first part is 'We go' is moving place then why we dont use Akkusative case here. Rather we are using Dative because of 'to'. Why we choose Dativ preposition case over Akkusative preposition case? Thanks in advance.

Got it! I assumed "zu" as wechsel when it is actually a dativ one. 😀

Only few prepositions are changing prepositions , Zu is proper Dativ :)

@@poojajanwalkar3558 an , auf etc are Wechsel or changing prepositions , they change with verb . Mit, von , zu , nach etc. are always dative
