As weird as it sounds, if I want to casually listen to music, I often use my Amazon 7 inch tablet. It lasts for hours, runs just about every streaming service, sounds ok, makes a good ebook reader, and even works as a functional video viewer. And it only cost me $29. Of course it requires a pretty big pocket! Kind of like a cheap huge iPod Touch.
This can also be used for games using Emulators. I really recommend paying for My Boy! and My Old Boy! I do recommend using an adapter from USB C to USB so you can put a dongle in for something like a Uniplay keyboard Controller Dongle. It's Android compatible.
They do. This guy was tested with up to 256gb with no issues and I'd bet it'll go up to 512gb/1tb without a problem. Back in the day of early digital devices they usually limited storage expansion compatibility due to firmware but now that these devices run full blown modern android os's they really dont have that problem. Manufacturers may state a max capacity because that's all they tested up to or to protect themselves from liability but most devices nowadays will accept much larger cards than spec would have you believe. For example my tablet officially only "accepts" 256gb cards on paper, but I've had a 1tb card in it for a year that works flawlessly

I'm looking for something to run a bare minimum number of Android apps such as Apple music classical and the telegraph app. I only use a Nokia feature phone and I'm not looking to upgrade but for simple home use this would be perfect
Maybe this would be good for a kid or something...but I honestly couldn't see myself spending $90 on a dedicated mp3 player when I have a couple of Android phones to use as one...plus my old Android phone can take a 512gb microSD card...it's honestly surprising there's still a market for these things
I use a similar one to stream music to the Bluetooth speakers at my business. Doesn't drain my phone battery plus I don't want any phone notifications going off or to be signed into anything with my credentials if it gets stolen. I have another I keep in my car for the same reasons. I also use the car one running and biking, smaller and lighter and I won't drop and break my phone lol
Nice Video. Does this device can remember where I left the last song played before power-off and resume the song and position when I power-On again. If this device does not have this feature, what other MP3/MP4 you have reviewed has this feature. Thank You for your reply in advance.
The behavior of song playback position depends entirely on the android music app you use and has nothing to do with this player in particular. I use doubletwist which does remember the song and position but if you decide to use another music app I can't say what it would do without trying it myself.
I want an android player to download my apple music library onto it and play offline my apple music. my cellphone has not enough space. what android player can you recommend?
If you want a budget model I'd suggest the Pecsu P5S (I've done a review video on it), otherwise you could also go the used route and get an older model samsung flagship phone that has a micro sd card slot (you'd just be using it offline or over wifi so getting one with a bad imei is fine to lower the price).

I have an s20 ultra which along with the note 20 I believe are the last of the high end samsungs that have expandable memory and meet all your criteria. I got my s20 for pretty cheap (~$300 iirc, for a phone that normally costs upwards of $1k in good condition) as it's been imei locked (cant be added to cellular network, likely it wasn't paid off from a contract). Sure I cant use it like a regular cell to make calls but I actually bought it to film these youtube videos so that's not a problem for me and saved me quite a bit for an otherwise very functional smart phone. Otherwise the only other options for high end audio would be to look into hi-res sony android devices but those will easily cost much more than a 2nd hand high end samsung phone.

Small correction, it's the note 20 ultra with the sd card slot, the regular note 20 doesn't have one. So as far as I know they are very similar, but the key difference is the note 20 ultra has the spen while the s20 ultra doesn't. It really comes down to if you ever want to draw/take notes with the pen. @@sjm4306 Thank you for your reply I plug it in via the usb cable it came with and i go to devices and device shows up. I connect to bluetooth and it connects . Where it says send receive files via blue tooth Ive tryed sending files via blue tooth and it dosnt work on windows 10.
@@sjm4306 hi Ive managed to send via Bluetooth. Located files on the device then clicked revive files from another Bluetooth device then selected files then share icon , on device. Took a while locating them had to look in Temp. Hey thanks for taking time to reply to my comment .

Without knowing the password or brute forcing it, I dont think there's a way to even factory reset an android device. You may be able to wipe if you can access the bootloader or via adb command when usb debugging with a pc.

Install respective app to both phones, login, and upload/download the files - Connect both devices via double ended usb c cable and just configure your phone to be host so it can browse the agptek and write the file to it

I dont even have bluetooth in my car so I'll never use it that way. Also what would showing it connect to bluetooth really do? I explained my experience using it which is what reviews are, so unless for some reason you really dont trust my explanation I dont see what demoing a very common feature really does.
Technically no since it doesn't have a cellular connection, but also technically yes since you can install most apps (some of which will allow you to make voip calls or text over wifi). I unfortunately don't really have experience with such apps though so I couldn't really point you to a specific one though.
Honestly just about any smartphone nowadays has a much better camera. It's not great and I would've preferred they used that space to make the battery a little bit larger instead.
Battery life on this model is mediocre to be honest. Not terrible but also not great. I suspect the designers focused on making the case thinner at the expense of runtime. I'd have preferred if they made it a little thicker to accommodate a bigger battery.
Will this thing drive bigger headphones like HD600 well? Is the audio quality from the headphone jack any good for higher end wired headphones and earbuds?
The HD600 have ~300 ohms impedance and iirc this little guy only has a nominal output power from the headphone jack in the range of double digit mW so it'll likely be quiet with chunkier cans. I'd suggest a headphone amp in series for that case. As for quality, I did test with some kz iems and my sony wh-1000xm3's and was satisfied with the audio output. Will this make an audiophile happy ... probably not, but for most people with average to above average headphones this should sound pleasant.
I run everything through a headphone amp, and I'm always glad I did, no matter what headphones I use. For planars or higher end headphones that are a bit less efficient, I would use a headphone amp. None of these mp3 players have a really powerful amp built in, maybe an adequate one. Even my Fiio X1 player doesn't have a very powerful amp, it's ok.

I predominately use bluetooth headphones, so they sounded exactly like any other bluetooth attached device transmitting the aptx codec.

Yep, I have over 150gb of mp3s and flacs on a 256gb card that doubletwist reads without issue.
By the way, the more recent Hifi Walker G7 has virtually identical specs, except for a bigger battery (2000 mAh). It has a slightly thicker frame.

Nope it was maxed out for the whole video. It might have been my camera autoexposure making it look brighter is certain shots.

For anything that requires extensive wifi streaming 100% the Pecsu. The wifi on this AGPTEK is easily the weakest feature.

I paid $130 for a Hiby R3 Saber and ~all~ that does is play Music. It's not even an Android device.

Can you find the files, does it show up in the file browser when connected to the computer over usb, does it give some sort of error when copying?

I've never sent files via bluetooth, just over usb by directly accessing the device memory in the pc file browser
