      girl same, and my Chem class is completely online so its hard. I mean, he has a video explaining everything we need to know, but for this topic specifically i feel he is missing key points in order to complete the problems. I google "balancing a chem equation, 10 mins in and I already feel 100% more confident on how to do these types of equations.
      Are there any other channels though that you would reccomend for help?

    It always interests me how we all seem to collectively agree that OCT teaches better than most teachers when they're the ones giving depth to a particular lesson for better understanding. The difference in learning the background of a lesson over just doing the process might be a factor. Or that, the prior knowledge we have from teachers made it easier for us to understand OCT's tutorials. Nevertheless, the educational system both east and west are fucked for giving students limited time to learn about something they're not mildly interested in.

      @ruthpahan 4 роки тому +21

      Whenever there's a fraction, divide the odd number by 2, then multiply all of the subscripts by 2, and you'll be alright.
      For example:
      C6H14 + 19/2 O2 = 6 CO2 + 7H2O
      Now, multiply all of the subscripts by 2 to get
      2 C6H14 + 19 O2 = 12 CO2 + 14 H2O

    Can someone explain the application of balancing chemical equations? I know how to do this, I just don't understand why we do this. I'm looking for a serious answer please.
    Are there cases in chemistry where you have some of each molecule but not all of them?
