So sure that for many these encounters are very traumatic and cause a form of PTSD for those that have the scary meetings

My family owned property in Knox county 5 miles from Danville. It was 80 acres with old gravel pits and a cabin. When we first purchased it my cousin and I loved to camp by the lake like we were big shots being away from the adults. I was 13 and he was 15 and we were raised outdoors. The first night we camped we woke up at around 3-4 in the morning to what we assumed were bears rummaging through some food we left by the fire pit. The bears exploded upright and crashed off through the brush towards empty gravel pits at the back of our property and boy we flew back to the cabin waking everyone up crashing through the door. We were reassured they were probably coyotes or wild dogs and not bears and surely did stand up and run off that was due to our fear and imagination hahahah

Damn it, the machete guy had an opportunity to communicate with one and allow his fear which I understand to drive him back into his home rather than finding out about its species and what it wants and how long it's been here. Wasted opportunity that I could understand

@stubones Well, I had to be during my first encounter,just 20 feet away from me. I attempted to communicate but received the death stare! I've been involved in a 15-year encounter with a clan of Sasquatch, and the only positive interaction I've had is with a juvenile, which he seems to be very interested in what we're doing. He joins me on my dog walks and comes into the backyard to watch t.v. with us peeping through the windows. He seems to like my dogs and vise versa,well actually only the one dog is okay with him. Looks for him, too! The only communication I've had is gifting back and forth and the alpha, calling my name! I've been yelled at, too, and when they want my attention, I get 3 tree knocks with a rock! You didn't expect to get that answer,did you? Listen,I get it ,it's intimidating! Really, I feel they are a Guardians whether we know it or not, but like everybody else, if you step on their territory or take food from their mouth, they're going to let you know. I don't believe that our God makes mistakes. Everything's intentional and well thought out. These beings belong here. There is an important job for them, whatever that may be. I'm totally interested in finding out what the reason is to be here and if there's anything I can do to help them reach that. We all have a job to do before we move on, and I think every one of us could stop slowing down and helping one another. I appreciate you reaching out. Merry Christmas, happy new year. @@stubonesif I were in a manic mood, it's possible I would have spoken to it despite the adrenaline rushes. I'm very used to the woods and encountering animals, which are usually the scared ones.

Y'all must have a different species of Sasquatch in Ohio. Ive never heard about a flap of skin under the nastrals. But then again a few stayes like Florida,,Louisiana, Mississippi, ect have the skunk ape which look human and gorilla like, Lots of other states they say yhe Sasquatch look more like a Neanderthal.
