- Utopia of the Seas is going to be one of the easiest ways to get to the Perfect Day at Coco Cay on weekend cruises. Its gonna be popular for families which means lots of kids, fortunately Royal Caribbean has opened Hideaway Beach to allow for an escape from the kiddies.

Would you pay what I did to avoid kids on Coco Cay?
😳Absolutely!!👍😂🥰
Yes .
With the current exchange rate from CAD to USD, we try to avoid paying any extra money (especially at Coco Cay). We have been there 2 times now. The first time, my son and I did the thrill water park. The last time we were there, we didn’t get off the ship.
Yes I would. I love kids, but they are allowed to do whatever, so I would just avoid it!
💯 %
Thanks to all who sail these mega ships so I don't have to. I would have loved them when I was younger but now not so much. Too many people and walking. It does look beautiful. If someone doesn't have fun on a cruise, it is their own fault. Always something fun.
Have a great day.
12000 cruise ship guests arriving at the same time… just perfect 🙄
Very cool, kids free is the best! I booked Hideaway Beach for $43 September 2024 on Allure of the Seas! 🍹 🎉
2 mega ships at once - no thanks. Watching your videos has clearly cemented me with small ship cruising! Thanks for putting out such great information
I prefer the small ships too
It looks so much fun. I've got to get a cruise scheduled. The last one was in March. Just retired from teaching for 30 yrs. Needing to wrap my head around what is next in my life. I know A CRUISE!!! Hope to meet you, Jenny, and Don someday.❤️
My kids are all adults, so at this point I'm more looking to avoid crowds of kids! I'd definitely pay for that.
I was on the Utopia inaugural cruise as well. Saw you in the casino but didn’t want to interrupt your slot play.
Love your videos!
We were there on Celebrity Reflections last month. I loved it! I spent the whole day in the adult area. We go back in September on Freedom of the Seas. I can't wait!
I would pay extra for that. Mainly because I really don’t want to see some of the bad parenting that goes on.
Thanks for the viid! I'm going for the first time in december and I'm one of the lucky few because I bought my pass online already at $25. Also my first time at Coco Cay in general. Been waiting years and years to go and watched your vids, J's vids, etc to prepare. Been a minute since I've been able to stop by your channel (life be lifin) but it feels good to be back. Oh! I also got the Dolphin package at Nassau for literally under $100 on the same day. I couldn't believe it! I've wanted to swim with dolphins since I was 6.
Its worth it. The best spot
I can't believe I missed the chance to meet you Tony! My husband told me you were at his table last night 😢. I often do Hideaway Beach because I love the heated pools. But this time we splurged for the Beach Club. I liked that the music wasn't so frickin loud, but disappointed that the pool was cold. Hideaway Beach definitely has some attraction.
That was NCL Breakaway at Great Stirrup. The red circle at the front was one clue, the other was that this ship was listed as being in the port that day on the port's schedule.
The NCL Ship at Great Stirrup Cay was the Breakaway, my son and DIL were there that day!
Thanks for taking a pic with me !! Great talking to you guys
Those ships are huge.
Your towel animal looked awesome.
Seriously cool shots of the ships. “This is the life”. Are you kidding ME right now! Ha. You are killing me with this . Omg. The food. You are so enthusiastic on this cruise. Addicting. Thanks.
Thanks Tony...while I watched the video, I felt like I was right there. Gotta check out this place.
My third Tony vid of the day! Loving it!
Great pic of the two mega ships together! 🤩
Purchase before cruise much cheaper making it well worth the price! I loved Hideaway & I hate beaches. 🎉🎉loved the champagne shots
Hi Tony. I would definitely pay to go to the adult only area. It looks awesome with both beach and pools. The food also looked good and fresh. More swag and a towel animal😅. As always thank you for all you do ❤
That floral shirt is EVERYTHING! 🧳
Nice aft actually two nice afts referencing the ship spotting at the end of the video. 😂🤣😂🤣😎😎😎
Never thought I would pay for hideaway, but after seeing this I will!
Great video ❤❤❤❤
I love Hideaway Beach! Always a great time there and the food is different and better!
It was on the Breakaway at GSC when you were at CC. Probably the worst cruise I have been on. The tender was running way behind, some passengers did not get one GSC until 1pm and they close the buffet early so some guests did not get to eat. The line to get the tender back was 2 hours long, lets talk about it
Glad to see you having fun! Thank you for sharing with us!
I saw you in Windjammer but didn’t want to be that guy that interrupts your personal time, lol. I would have said, thanks for the videos your content is awesome! Also I was hoping you video from Coco Cay back to Great Stirrup because that prior video where you showed RC flexing in the background was priceless.
People say Disney Cruise Line is expensive but include everything in price minus crazy premium resturants, spa and cabanas. When you add up all the nickel and diming RCL, Carnival and such do then it is same price it costs almost as much if not more. 75 for an adults area is a very unnecessary charge.
Have a great time Tony!
No kids-my kind of vacation spot
That food looked hella good. Hella!!!!
Most times I don’t mind kids if they’re generally well behaved!! Traveled on Disney (platinum) with multiple families! But there’s sometimes when you just want to cruise AWAY FROM ALL OF EVERYTHING!!❤️🥰🥰
Amazing cruise ship valley alley!
🎉Enjoy your cruise! I knew that beautiful ship was the Allure before you had told us 😊 she's everywhere!
Thank you for showing the food options. I really like what is on offer in this area.
Awesome information!!! Leaving on Wonders in January now we know where to go!! Thanks Tony!!!
Sounds GREAT Tony!😊
Thanks for the fun tour Tony!
We visited Hideaway beach in March, and it's a VIBE
Great stirrup is so awesome and quieter
My teens were like "Can WE go to escape the kids too?" 🤣My teen kids like a good book and a fruit smoothie more than waterparks just like their Momma.
Crowded Day at Coco Cay… 😊
We paid 44.99 each for Hideaway Beach for our September cruise on Symphony. Watch for sales if you know you want to go.
Hi Tony, really glad you are enjoying yourself, it is a beautiful ship no doubt and Coco Cay looks fabulous, stay safe Brother, God Bless
Tony, looks great! Food looks yummy too. Thanks for sharing. I haven't been to Coco Cay.
The one thing I noticed on my MSC cruises no adult only pool areas, similar to Carnival Serenity pool and even better no smoking. Yes they had a few loungers on the side of the ship, marked as adult only. No pool, no bar, no shade.
Comment on Final ship spotting shot: Nice Afts!
It's almost like RCL is expecting (and hoping) that parents won't control their kids. Otherwise, there would be little demand for this.
We have a Hideaway Beach booked. Looking forward to it
NICE AFT!!
Cococay was one of the ports we stopped at on my first cruise in 1991 and WOW has it changed. If I recall correctly, back then it was a tinder port. What I do remember is there was nothing on that island. There were a couple grass hut style spots, a BBQ sat up and not much else. My ex sent me the now images and I was blown away by how different it is now. Back then, it was one of our favorite spots because it was like a quiet little private beach. But it looks really cool now too.
I may try Hideaway Island on my next Royal Caribbean cruise. Thanks for sharing Tony!!
Wow, do prices fluctuate per sailing! It's $28 per person for my Utopia in October and we paid $24 on Allure this past April! I hope the price you paid is for 2 people! I don't feel it's worth more than what we paid in April and in October I plan to check out the hopefully quieter Oasis Lagoon. We'll luckily be the only ship there that day! That also would fuel my decision to purchase Hideaway or not.
❤❤loving this! But somewhere on that island we went where there’s an infinity pool next to the beach with an awesome nearby bar. We had the best time!! No kids!! Super chill! Totally quiet!!🥰🥰
Ya Coco Cay Beach Club
@@LaLidoLoca yea🥰
Been 3 times, love it! One thing IMO food is better in the free zone.
I think I would…sometimes you just want to listen to some island music, have an adult beverage and chill. Thanks Tony.
GOTTA LOVE RCL!!
Thanks for the tour. I adore swag, the more bags tge better. I loved the towel animals on my cruise
It depends for me. I havent been at Coco Cay since they redid it. So unsure just how had it is when it comes to the kids. But yes id likely pay that. I pay for beach breaks for adults only all the time. All inclusive etc paid more than 75 for some of them.
We enjoyed Hide Away Beach recently as well. RCL did a nice job here. One word of caution, I had to leave the area for something, and when I came back the staff instructed me to scan my sea pass card. I figured that this would let them know that I had purchased the pass. It seemed reasonable. Instead, I was charged $72 which I didn't appear on my account until the next day. Guest services was able to verify that I pre-booked and removed the $72 charge.
Absolutely!!! We are happily empty nesters but for our 2 fur babies. I do NOT want to do anything that involves anyone's children around me!!!! They are so unruly these days. I actually wanted to say monstrous!! So I'd pay whatever!!! to avoid them.
Tiktoks make kids even more insufferable these days
You sound lonely. I wonder what kind of a kid you were? Were your children perfect? 😢
@@Glendatheagoodwitch Not at all. I am the daughter of a Pentecostal minister. I have 4 biological children and 2 adopted. All are university educated and range from sous chefs to Army Veterans. I have 5 wonderful grandchildren who are world travelers. I have a wonderful husband who is 13 years younger than me. And 2 very loved fur babies, a Yorkie and a Boston terrier. We are frequent cruisers with many friends. And we have an awesome home church that we love. So THAT GOES TO SHOW what assuming/judgement does for curious folks huh??😁😱🤣
@@Glendatheagoodwitch P.S. "Good Grandma" sounds like you are desperate by the way🤣😂
Tony, you called it: Virgin Voyages all the way. All the "advantages" you seemed to be excited about--the least of which is no "towel tracking" is exactly why we will sail VV every chance we get. "No kids" 24x7...plus a really chill, easy-going vibe, etc. We just cannot imagine that those of us who prioritize those things would choose any other cruise line! And nope--no affiliation with Virgin Voyages, just fans!
If VV is so great for cruising adults, then why don't they have a drink package? Imbibing while on vacation is so important to many people yet VV doesn't offer it.
@@greggm6614a lot of us can’t drink for medical or moral reasons. Why should we pay for stuff we won’t touch?
Purchase before cruise much cheaper making it well worth the price! I loved Hideaway & I hate beaches. 🎉🎉
Yes, totally worth it. Did it in February.
Love the video title … and the ending.
Can’t wait to go back to Coco cay! All the way from Pasco county
Two of those ships on Coco Cay?! It felt packed when we were on Symphony (which was at max capacity).
Looks good! I’d go.
I can’t wait to go to Hideaway beach…. Girls trip on Independence of the seas in Nov.
Because of the asinine dynamic pricing policy of RCI the price you pay will be determined by the ship you're sailing on and what time of the year you're sailing. In April we were on the Wonder OTS and the regular pre-cruise price was 50.00. We luckily were able to snag a 50% discount, so it was 25.00. Of course the best we could get the drink package for was 30% off, so it was still outrageously priced versus their competition.
I can't believe how much it's changed. The last time we were there it was a tender port.
Holy ship spotting!
Cant believe its not crowded at Hideway. We got complimentary passes on our last sailing in April. It was so packed! No chairs close and the food was ok.
This gives me a chuckle. In CT, a city built an indoor Coco Cay and it closed down in about 2 years. I believe the city it was built near had something to do with it as the 25 yr old mall 1/2 mile down the road is ALSO mostly empty as is the adjoining strip mall...
Lol!!😂😂😂😂😂Don't melt!!!! Have fun😜!!!
Book Hideaway Pre-cruise and look for deals…we paid $49 and had a blast. Well worth it.
I've been on the Allure and it is a great ship.👍
Looks amazing. I wish a cruise company had their own island like that in Australia. USA/Caribbean is too far away for us atm. Hate 14hr flights.😂
Visiting coco cay in 2 weeks for the first time!
I found the perfect spot on hideaway in April. Under two trees, with an umbrella and table, two loungers by the pizza and bar and restroom. It was at the far end closer to the cabanas. So we didn't have the party thumping music of the pool, just beach vibe music.
I enjoy your videos. Subscriber for quite awhile. So not trying to be mean, since I could often use the same advice often. While recording, either avoid angles of your nose that show an upward view, or trim. I just don't want to see that again. But I do want to see Hideaway Beach. Not so much for the 'no kids', as I enjoy well-behaved children, but more for the area. Looks awesome. Thank you for the comprehensive video.
VV Bimini Beach Club? My thoughts exactly! Except no $64-75 upcharge on VV.
Utopia and Allure together?!?!❤ but hopefully it’s not too crowded!🥰
🥰That shot of them in dock together!!❤❤🥰
Hey Tony are you on the same sailing with J from ship life? Oh & shout-out to Ludacris 😊
That’s crazy should be included.
The trams are awesome...ALL ports should have something similar to that.
I paid $29.00 for it in March.
I'll be on it in August going with Symphony. Paid $39.00 for Hideaway, it was on sale for labor day. Even tho it is worth the $65.00 I won't do it for so much because there are so many other places to go in cococay. Enjoy it!
Hey Tony...I'm curious: What kind of excursion can you do on a private island like Perfect Day?? Thanks Harriet
Looks amazing. I saw Dara there on Saturday.
We went for the first time in April. We were not sure whether to do Hideaway beach or not for our first time. Well it went on sale for $18.99 so did it. Turns out lots of kids on our cruise so it was well worth it. Oven water was a tad cold so heated pool was great. My wife about bankrupted RC with the coconut shrimp. I’d go if I could get for
Skip the front beaches, take the tram to South Beach - much less crowded
such a cool ship shot
We were there in Feb of this year. Our honest opinion was that it wasn't worth the money. The heated pool was fine. The coconut shrimp were overcooked. It was a let down.
Nope. I would let all the families go ashore while I stay aboard enjoying the ship to myself.
But I tend to avoid children by booking the smaller ships on Princess, traveling during the school year, and so forth.
It depends on your cruise and you have to watch the rates. I’ve been twice and paid $21 on one and $24 on the other. I have two coming up and paid $24 for one and $34 (watching the rates still 😀) for the other.
