Replace Caravan Window - 5 Minute Job!!

How to replace a Polyplastic caravan window. It's a five minute job with 2 people, don't pay someone to do it. I did this on my 2006 Swift Charisma (windows from 2009 model found on eBay for £200). I bought all 3 front windows from someone who had a write-off Charisma for spare parts. I was quoted £486 for one window from the original manufacturer. After searching eBay for a few hours we found these windows. Turns out that one window was cracked worse than we thought although, the guy knocked £50 off, so can't complain really.

The window stays had broken and fell forwards with very sharp edges into the back of necks and heads.
For the life of me I couldn't figure out how to get the handles off.

Nice one, shame about the replacement windows, hopefully you can discuss this with the seller. But good to see how easy they can be replaced.

Hi Dave, still got it. That’s the one that’s cracked in the video though... I reckon it can be fixed with a bit of araldite glue. You can have it for £20 if you want to give it a go? We’re in Rotherham.
