You brought up your turning radius I thought the grenadier has basically a nut and bolt steering stop in the front? I’ve heard that you can turn them in to get a little tighter steering out of it? Nice grenadier👍
Yes it has steering stops just like jeeps or other solid axle vehicles. The concern is however that you could overturn while locked in the rocks or other low traction terrain, potentially causing binding in the u joints of the axle shafts potentially causing a failure. I may turn them in a little bit. A better solution would be RCV’s. On that particular obstacle I mentioned, the wheel base and height was more of an issue as it’s a tight and sharp turn, but manageable. 🤙🤙
Thank you for pointing out where to get the ones with out the kick out. I have been looking at these for a few weeks and did not want the kick out. In your opinion are they comfortable enough to use as a step up into the vehicle as well? thanks
@@katahdin92 they can be used as a step slightly. You can comfortably get the ball of your foot on there, sideways you can get your full foot on, unless you’re Shaq 😂
