Hey Take! That is truly a wonderful backpack and I am really considering ordering it. I just had a quick question though - is the camera storage part of the backpack removable? As in, can one remove the protective dividers and use it as a normal backpack in case needed? Thanks!
Thanks for the reply, Take. When you say that you can rearrange the compartments does that also mean choose a configuration that has lesser padded compartments (in turn increasing the top storage) - just in case for days when one needs to carry lesser gear?
Hi BHT, Just wondering what happened to Zkin? I know all is not quiet in Hong Kong these days but it looks like the Zkin website is gone and all of their backpacks are out of stock. I'm asking because one of my older ones is a little worn and I was looking to replace it.
+Josep Josep those are the review cameras I have on hand other than the Minolta 40mm on the Leica, so that's what I use. These aren't cameras I choose to shoot with, but choose to review.
Would you recommend this bag for a Canon 6D user? I need a daily carry around bag that will fit my 6D, Joby Gorillapod and Mavic Pro (which I'd probably put in the top part. What are your thoughts? Great vid btw. Love this bag.
Yes this camera can hold everything you mentioned, it's just a matter of carrying style. Sometimes I like backpacks, other times side carry. But it's a great bag though. It's my daily medium to heavy carry bag, and also my travel bag when I fly
Fantastic! Many thanks for confirming. I'm basically looking for a bag that is flexible and adaptable and can be used for day trips and also travelling on long weekengs (eg. camera, couple of lenses, clothes etc.) and I'm torn between this and the 'Brevite - Rucksack' - which seems to be even more functional, but more cumbersome and nowhere near as stylistic. If you coud confirm one more thing for me I'd be very grateful, as I can't find the answer anywhere on the web! - Is the camera compartment removable, and can you configure the inside of it how you like to suit different lens styles? I haven't seen evidence of this anywhere, but most bags I've seen like this aren't fixed in place, but wanted to check. Cheers buddy! :)
+DaSmuggla Cullman mini-tripod. It's long discontinued since I bought it probably over 10 years ago or more. It's actually horrible, but it's compact and light so I use it.
Hi! Do you think it can fit a DX DSLR with one additional lens? I have a Nikon D7100. This is the most good looking camera backpack I have found but I am a bit concern about whether my gears would fit. Thank you.
I fit a Leica SL in this bag (but without the huge lens attached) so a small to midsize DSLR will fit no problem. The sections are all moveable and adjustable so you can configure any way you want
Thank you so much for the response! That was helpful. There are no other camera backpack as good looking as this, it's good to know it will fit my gear! :D
You get what you paid for. Design (especially good design) costs a lot of money, not just labour/ material etc...... People often forget/ ignore the fact that designers (yes designers is a real job/ career) spent countless hours coming up with designs; refining them before they can get into production. Design doesn't just happen over night. A&D costs money!
Looks very compact and cool. Great video Take.
i want that Leica SL so bad:)

yes you can move and re-arrange the compartments, or completely open it up to the top half.

looks like a great bag!
Does it get mouldy easily?

What's brand is that small tripod? Looking for a tripod that size. Thanks!
+DaSmuggla me too! I have a Joby Gorillapod, but this looks nice!
I'd like to know the brand and model as well.

Sirui makes some really nice small tripods. But I probably wouldn't want to go smaller than the Manfrotto Befree I picked up for travel.
VeloRydr the Manfrotto is expensive but looks great. I like the ball-head for most applications too. Thanks for the tip.

Looks like a great bag but probably impossible to get (and pay) in Germany :(
***** Jap, dafür hole ich mir lieber eine neue Festbrennweite

I am planning to buy this bag because of this review, but the price kind of stops me .....
Funny comment when you said "for me, Asian size, 5'5"..." Lol
What is the story behind the "click, click" to start and end your videos?
can this fit a 15'' macbook pro (retina)? can the dividers at the bottom be taken out to expand the internal compartment?
15" won't fit
Asian size!! 5'5" LOL ... you just described me too!! LOL
When I saw the price I am falling out of my chair!
Yes it's a premium bag that's for sure.
