I took the breather off and unbolted the throttle body(set it off to side with all connectors still on. Removed upper and lower hose from radiator. Then removed the shroud without having to take any other lines loose. Then unbolted the condenser from radiator and pulled the lines loose. Then that gave me room to remove the 2 bolts for the trans cooler. After that radiator pulled right out. Took 20 minutes

😎 cool. I'm not a mechanic. And never experienced taking a radiator off. I got rid of the car around 4 years ago. It had over 307,000 miles and still ran good.
Now I have a 2013 3.7 AWD panoramic roof Mkz. Had it about 5 years. Cost me over $3,000.00 to replace the water pump.

I think these cars were assembled with the radiator and the a/c condenser already joined, then the a/c lines were attached, the system evacuated, then charged, so I think this job is FAR easier if you first evacuate your refrigerant, take off the condenser lines (tape them up to stop atmosphere moisture from getting in while you work on it), then pull the radiator/condenser as one assembly, then when you put it back in, reconnect the a/c lines, evacuate, and recharge.

@@pittbulldutch still trying to remember the answer to that question. My Lincoln Ls has been in the garage now for about 10 months. Ball joint. Been too lazy to fix it. It has 308,000 miles on it. Been using my 2013 Lincoln MKZ 3.7 AWD. That one has the glass roof that rolls back.
